The weather conditions were not the best, but that did not prevent Femke Boll from starring at the Hengelo meeting.

The 25-year-old athlete from the Netherlands scored 52.51 in the 400m. emp., improving her own meeting record, which was 53.94 from 2022.

Bol, world champion in the event in Budapest in 2023, has this year's record at 52.46 from the Diamond League in Rabat, while with 50.95 from July 2024 she holds the European record and the 2nd best performance of all time, behind the 50.37 recorded by Sydney McLachlan at the Olympic Games in Paris.

In the men's discus throw, Slovenian Kristian Cech prevailed with a throw of 69.21m, American Chris Nielsen exceeded 5.82m. In the pole vault, Portugal's Gerson Balde won the long jump with a time of 8.07m, while Mark Inglis set an Irish record in the 800m with a time of 1:43.92.

In the women's high jump, Australia's Nicola Olisagers was the best with a time of 1.97m, while Dutchwoman Nadine Fischer set a season record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 12.59, as did American Chase Jackson in the shot put with a time of 20.62m.

Στο ύψος γυναικών η Νίκολα Ολισάγκερς από την Αυστραλία ήταν η καλύτερη με 1,97μ., η Ολλανδέζα, Ναντίν Φίσερ σημείωσε ρεκόρ περιόδου στα 100μ. εμπ. με 12.59, όπως και η Αμερικανίδα Τσέιζ Τζάκσον στη σφαιροβολία με 20,62μ.
