The 33-year-old American, who obtained a Greek passport and played with our National Team in this year's Women's EuroBasket, will continue her career in our country and in the finalists of this year's A1.

Parks began her career in the USA and Virginia Commonwealth University, while she then played in Spain for Gran Canaria, Sant Andrea and Valencia, before returning to the USA to play in the WNBA and wear the jerseys of the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun.

After her very successful presence in the National team, it's time for the next chapter: Meet our little Matina (and Athinaicos)! The governing body of Athinaicos Qualco is pleased to announce the acquisition of Robin Parks (33 years old, 1m.85) for the next two years. The first naturalized athlete in the history of the Greek National Team played last season in Emlat Conout with whom she averaged 13 points, six rebounds and 3.2 assists in 34 minutes per game. She started the summer playing for the Connecticut Sun, and played in EuroBasket with an average of 12 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

Robin Parks has vast European (and not only) experience, since in her ten-year career she has played in Gran Canaria, Pécs, Campus Promete, Sosnowiec, Sant Adria, Valencia, Zaragoza, Magnolia Campobasso and Skio with participations in the Eurocup and the Euroleague and excellent numbers. She has also played in Angola, Egypt, Mexico and Jordan”.

Ο Αθηναϊκός ανακοίνωσε την απόκτηση της Ρόμπιν Παρκς, η οποία αγωνίστηκε με την Εθνική μας στο φετινό EuroBasket Γυναικών!

Στον Αθηναϊκό η Ρόμπιν Παρκς!

Η 33χρονη Αμερικανίδα, η οποία απέκτησε ελληνικό διαβατήριο και αγωνίστηκε με την Εθνική μας ομάδα στο φετινό EuroBasket Γυναικών, θα συνεχίσει την καριέρα της στη χώρα μας και στη φιναλίστ της φετινής Α1.

Η Παρκς ξεκίνησε την καριέρα της από τις ΗΠΑ και το Virginia Commonwealth University, ενώ στη συνέχεια αγωνίστηκε στην Ισπανία για Γκραν Κανάρια, Σαντ Αντρια και Βαλένθια, πριν επιστρέψει στις ΗΠΑ για να παίξει στο WNBA και να φορέσει τις φανέλες των Chicago Sky και Connecticut Sun.

Μετά την πολύ πετυχημένη παρουσία της στην Εθνική ομάδα, ήρθε η ώρα για το επόμενο κεφάλαιο: Να γνωρίσει τη μικρή μας Ματίνα (και τον Αθηναϊκό)! Η διοικούσα επιτροπή του Αθηναϊκού Qualco έχει τη χαρά να ανακοινώσει την απόκτηση της Ρόμπιν Παρκς (33χρ., 1μ.85) για τα επόμενα δύο χρόνια. Η πρώτη νατουραλιζέ αθλήτρια στην ιστορία της Εθνικής Ελλάδας αγωνίστηκε την προηγούμενη σεζόν στην Εμλάτ Κονούτ με την οποία είχε μέσο όρο 13 πόντους, έξι ριμπάουντ και 3.2 ασίστ σε 34 λεπτά ανά αγώνα. Ξεκίνησε το καλοκαίρι αγωνιζόμενη στις Connecticut Sun, και έπαιξε στο ευρωμπάσκετ με μέσο όρο 12 πόντους, 5.7 ριμπάουντ και 1.7 ασίστ.

Η Ρόμπιν Παρκς έχει τεράστια ευρωπαϊκή (και όχι μόνο) εμπειρία, αφού στην δεκαετή της πορεία έχει αγωνιστεί σε Γκραν Κανάρια, Πεκς, Campus Promete, Σοσνόβιεκ, Sant Adria, Βαλένθια, Σαραγόσα, Magnolia Campobasso και Σκίο με συμμετοχές στο Eurocup και στη Euroleague και εξαιρετικά νούμερα. Έχει παίξει, επίσης, σε Αγκόλα, Αίγυπτο, Μεξικό και Ιορδανία».
