Australian Nicola Olislagers retained her high jump crown, winning the gold medal at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Nanjing, China!
Nicola Olislagers is the “Queen” of the high jump for the second consecutive year!
The 28-year-old Australian retained her title at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Nanjing, China, completing her efforts with a jump of 1.97m!
Olislagers had a perfect race as she “cleared” all the heights she exceeded on the first attempt, before failing three times at 1.99m. Second was her compatriot Eleanor Patterson (also 1.97 m), while the bronze medal was won by Ukrainian Olympic champion and world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchyk,
on Sunday morning in Nanjing, China, in a competition where Ukrainian Olympic champion and world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchyk had to settle for bronze with a jump of 1.95 m.
