Arsenal: Martinelli suffers major blow, Brazilian winger out for over a month
Another injury has hit Arsenal's door, as Gabriel Martinelli is expected to be out for over a month.
The statements before the return leg against Newcastle were sour for Gabriel Martinelli, as not only did Arsenal not score "three, four, five goals", as the 23-year-old winger had said, but at the same time he himself left "St. James Park" injured.
The tests the Brazilian underwent showed a problem with his adductor, which will keep him out of action for over a month.
Martinelli will definitely miss the matches against Leicester, West Ham and Nottingham Forest and is now racing to be ready after the international break, when the Gunners face Manchester United on March 9 and Chelsea a week later.

Ακόμη ένας τραυματισμός "χτύπησε" την πόρτα της Άρσεναλ, καθώς ο Γκάμπριελ Μαρτινέλι αναμένεται να μείνει εκτός γηπέδων για περισσότερο από έναν μήνα.
Ξινές βγήκαν οι δηλώσεις πριν τη ρεβάνς με τη Νιούκαστλ για τον Γκάμπριελ Μαρτινέλι, καθώς όχι μόνο η Άρσεναλ δεν σκόραρε "τρία, τέσσερα, πέντε γκολ", όπως είχε πει ο 23χρονος εξτρέμ, αλλά την ίδια στιγμή ο ίδιος αποχώρησε τραυματίας από το "St. James Park".
Οι εξετάσεις που υποβλήθηκε ο Βραζιλιάνος έδειξαν πρόβλημα στον προσαγωγό, κάτι που θα τον κρατήσει εκτός αγωνιστικών χώρων για πάνω από έναν μήνα.
Ο Μαρτινέλι θα χάσει σίγουρα τους αγώνες κόντρα στη Λέστερ, τη Γουέστ Χαμ και τη Νότιγχαμ Φόρεστ και πλέον τρέχει για να είναι έτοιμος μετά τη διακοπή των εθνικών, όταν οι Κανονιέρηδες αντιμετωπίζουν τη Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ στις 9 Μαρτίου και την Τσέλσι μία εβδομάδα αργότερα.
