Ο Τσους Ματέο σχολίασε τις πρώτες μέρες των Μπρούνο Φερνάντο και Ντένις Σμιθ Τζούνιορ στη Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης και τόνισε πως θα πρέπει να υπάρχει κατανόηση κατά την περίοδο της προσαρμογής τους.

«Καταλαβαίνω πως η προσαρμογή ενός παίκτη είναι μια κατάσταση που προχωράει μέρα με την μέρα. Πρέπει να προσπαθήσω να έχω κατανόηση μαζί τους και να αντιληφθώ και εγώ από πού προέρχονται, πού βρίσκονται τώρα. Πάνω από όλα σκέφτομαι την ομάδα, αυτή είναι η προτεραιότητά μου. Πρέπει να τους βάλουμε σε μια θέση που θα βοηθούν την ομάδα ανεξαρτήτως λεπτών, σε μια κατάσταση που θα είναι λειτουργική για εκείνους».
