Mourinho: “We saw what happened when a foreign referee came, Galatasaray had only 1 shot against us”
Jose Mourinho was scathing in his statements after the end of the draw away derby with Galatasaray, with the Fenerbahce coach speaking of a jungle and standing on the minimal threat that his team felt against the Super Lig leader.
Fenerbahce only wanted a victory at the home of the leader Galatasaray in the big derby of the 25th matchday of the Super Lig, in order to get back into the title race, but they were unable to score despite being better (0-0) and remained -6 from the top.
This result makes “Cim Bom” the undisputed favorite to be the first to break the league tie for the third consecutive season, with José Mourinho not forgetting his team’s complaints about the refereeing throughout the season and expressing them after the match.
“If Galatasaray wants to say, show and be an example of “We are very strong, we are a champion team” they should ask for a foreign referee in every match.
Because we saw what happened when a foreign referee came to blow the whistle. They were eliminated from Europe. They only had 1 shot against us on their own field”, the Portuguese initially emphasized, to add in the same aggressive tone:
“It was a very good game because the referee’s performance was very good. He had enough honesty. The referee conducted a very good game in this environment that we can call a jungle.
Our opponents played for a draw and they are happy with the draw, we are not. After the game I went to the referees' room and congratulated Vinčić.
Then, I turned to the fourth referee who was Turkish and said to him “If it were you, this match would be a disaster”.

Ο Ζοζέ Μουρίνιο ήταν καυστικός στις δηλώσεις του μετά από το φινάλε του ισόπαλου εκτός έδρας ντέρμπι με την Γαλατάσαραϊ, με τον προπονητή της Φενέρμπαχτσε να κάνει λόγο για ζούγκλα και να στέκεται στην ελάχιστη απειλή που ένιωσε η ομάδα του κόντρα στην πρωτοπόρο της Super Lig.
H Φενέρμπαχτσε ήθελε μόνο νίκη στην έδρα της πρωτοπόρου Γαλατάσαραϊ στο μεγάλο ντέρμπι της 25ης αγωνιστικής της Super Lig, προκειμένου να ξαναμπεί στο κόλπο του τίτλου όμως δεν μπόρεσε να σκοράρει αν και καλύτερη (0-0) και έμεινε στο -6 από την κορυφή.
Το αποτέλεσμα αυτό καθιστά την “Τσιμ Μπομ” το αδιαφιλονίκητο φαβορί για να κόψει πρώτη το νήμα στο πρωτάθλημα για τρίτη διαδοχική σεζόν, με τον Ζοζέ Μουρίνιο να μην έχει όμως ξεχάσει τα παράπονα της ομάδας του από τη διαιτησία καθόλη τη διάρκεια της σεζόν και να τα εκφράζει και μετά από την αναμέτρηση.
“Εάν η Γαλατάσαραϊ θέλει να λέει, να δείχνει και να είναι το παράδειγμα του “Είμαστε πολύ δυνατοί, είμαστε ομάδα πρωταθλήτρια” θα πρέπει να ζητούν ξένο διαιτητή σε κάθε ματς.
Επειδή είδαμε τι συνέβη όταν ήρθε ξένος διαιτητής να σφυρίξει. Αποκλείστηκαν από την Ευρώπη. Είχαν μόνο 1 σουτ απέναντί μας στο γήπεδό τους”, τόνισε αρχικά ο Πορτογάλος, για να προσθέσει με τον ίδιο επιθετικό ύφος:
“Ήταν ένα πολύ καλό παιχνίδι επειδή ήταν πολύ καλή η απόδοση του διαιτητή. Είχε αρκετή τιμιότητα. Ο διαιτητής διηύθυνε ένα πολύ καλό παιχνίδι σε αυτό το περιβάλλον που μπορούμε να το αποκαλέσουμε ζούγκλα.
Οι αντίπαλοί μας έπαιξαν για την ισοπαλία και είναι χαρούμενοι με την ισοπαλία, εμείς δεν είμαστε. Μετά από το παιχνίδι πήγα στο δωμάτιο των διαιτητών και συνεχάρη τον Βίντσιτς.
Τότε, γύρισα στον τέταρτο διαιτητή που ήταν Τούρκος και του είπα “Εάν ήσουν εσύ, αυτό το ματς θα ήταν μία καταστροφή”.
