Chelsea, transfers: Villarreal's Jorgensen signs immediately
Philip Jorgensen should be considered a Chelsea player, with Villarreal finally giving the OK for the Danish goalkeeper.
In a bid to bolster his squad and Chelsea's goalkeeping position, Enzo Maresca has insisted on signing Philip Jorgensen from Villarreal.
The two teams appear to have reached an agreement and, according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will pay Villarreal €24.5 million to bring the 22-year-old Dane to London.
Jorgensen has been playing in Villarreal's youth ranks for years, while last season he was the main goalkeeper of the first team, making 36 appearances in La Liga. All that remains is his official announcement from the London club.

Παίκτης της Τσέλσι θα πρέπει να θεωρείται ο Φίλιπ Γιόργκενσεν, με την Βιγιαρεάλ να δίνει τελικά το «οκ» για τη παραχώρηση του Δανού τερματοφύλακα.
Σε μία προσπάθεια να ενισχύσει το ρόστερ του και τη θέση των τερματοφυλάκων της Τσέλσι, ο Έντσο Μαρέσκα επέμενε για τη μεταγραφή του Φίλιπ Γιόργκενσεν από τη Βιγιαρεάλ.
Οι δύο ομάδες φαίνεται πως έχουν φτάσει σε συμφωνία και, σύμφωνα με τον Φαμπρίτσιο Ρομάνο, η Τσέλσι θα δώσει στη Βιγιαρεάλ 24.5 εκατομμύρια ευρώ για να φέρει τον 22χρονο Δανό στο Λονδίνο.
Ο Γιόργκενσεν αγωνίζεται εδώ και χρόνια στις μικρές ηλικιακές κατηγορίες της Βιγιαρεάλ, ενώ την περσινή σεζόν ήταν ο βασικός τερματοφύλακας της πρώτης ομάδας μετρώντας 36 συμμετοχές στη La Liga. Το μόνο που απομένει, είναι η επίσημη ανακοίνωσή του από τον λονδρέζικο σύλλογο.
