Athens Kallithea: Announced Moldovan stopper Motoc

The Moldovan center back, Andrej Motoc, who belonged to Salernitana, is the seventh transfer acquisition of Athens Kallithea.

As part of its reinforcements, the fledgling club made another transfer, as it brought in the 22-year-old center back with a height of 1.95, an international with the national youth team of Moldova, Andrei Motoc, who was playing in the Italian Leniago, but belonged to Salernitana. Leniago is the former team of the current coach of Athens Kallithea, Massimo Donati.

Athens Kallithea FC announces the signing of Moldova youth international Andrei Moțoc from Serie B side Salernitana.

Moțoc, a 22-year-old centre-back and 1.95m defensive midfielder, has one Serie A appearance for Salernitana and spent last season on loan at Legnago under AKFC coach Massimo Donati.

Born in Chișinău, Moțoc moved to Bologna at a young age and began playing football with amateur teams Granamica and Sasso Marconi before joining Carpi, where he eventually made his first team debut and first two professional appearances - one in the Coppa Italia and one in Serie C - aged 18 in the 2020/21 season.

Moțoc joined Salernitana the following season, where he made his Serie A debut aged 19 in January 2022, playing the full 90 minutes in a 3–0 defeat by Lazio.

After a six-month loan spell at Siena, Moțoc spent the entire 2023/24 season on loan at Legnago in Serie C, making 27 appearances in total and helping Legnago qualify for the promotion playoffs.

As an international, Moțoc has 13 caps with the Moldova U-21 National Team.

Ο Μολδαβός σέντερ μπακ, Αντρέι Μότοκ, ο οποίος ανήκε στην Σαλερνιτάνα αποτελεί το έβδομο μεταγραφικό απόκτημα της Athens Kallithea.

Ο νεοφώτιστος σύλλογος στο πλαίσιο ενίσχυσης του προχώρησε σε μια ακόμη μεταγραφή, καθώς ενέταξε στο δυναμικό του, τον 22χρονο ύψους 1.95 σέντερ μπακ, διεθνή με την εθνική Νέων της Μολδαβίας, Αντρέι Μότοκ, ο οποίος αγωνιζόταν στην ιταλική Λενιάγκο, αλλά ανήκε στη Σαλερνιτάνα. Η Λενιάγκο είναι η πρώην ομάδα του νυν τεχνικού της Athens Kallithea, Μάσιμο Ντονάτι.

Η Athens Kallithea FC ανακοινώνει την απόκτηση του διεθνούς με την Εθνική νέων Μολδαβίας Andrei Moțoc από τη Salernitana της Serie B.

Ο Moțoc, ένας 22χρονος σέντερ μπακ και αμυντικός μέσος ύψους 1,95 μ., μετράει μία συμμετοχή στη Serie A με τη Salernitana και πέρασε την περσινή σεζόν δανεικός στη Legnago υπό τις οδηγίες του προπονητή της AKFC Massimo Donati.

Έπειτα από έναν εξάμηνο δανεισμό στη Siena, o Moțoc πέρασε ολόκληρη τη σεζόν 2023/24 δανεικός στη Legnago στη Serie C, καταγράφοντας 27 συνολικά συμμετοχές και βοηθώντας τη Legnago να προκριθεί στα playoffs ανόδου.

Ως διεθνής, ο Moțoc έχει 13 συμμετοχές με την Κ-21 Εθνική Μολδαβίας.
