Μάλιστα ο Παλαντίνο φέρεται να βρίσκεται ήδη στο Φιρέντσε σύμφωνα με τους Ιταλούς, για να ολοκληρώσει και τα τυπικά σημεία της συμφωνίας και στη συνέχεια αναμένεται να βάλει την υπογραφή του στο συμβόλαιο που θα του προσφέρει η διοίκηση της Φιορεντίνα.
Υπενθυμίζουμε πως ο Ιταλιάνο αποχαιρέτησε τη Φιορεντίνα μετά τον αγώνα με την Αταλάντα, ενώ στις δηλώσεις του αναφέρθηκε στον χαμένο τελικό του Conference League από τον Ολυμπιακό, τονίζοντας πως θα έπαιζε ξανά τον αγώνα απέναντι στους Πειραιώτες.
