Werner: Tottenham have extended his loan for another year

Tottenham have announced that they have reached an agreement with Leipzig to extend Timo Werner's loan for another year.

Timo Werner is a resident of London for (at least) one more season. The German striker struggled in the second half of the season at Tottenham, on a six-month loan from Leipzig, and Spurs decided to keep him for another season.

As the Londoners announced, the 28-year-old striker will continue at Tottenham for another year, in the form of a loan, while the deal between the two sides also includes a purchase option, in the range of 15-16 million euros.

In the second half of the season, the German made 14 appearances for Spurs, with two goals and three assists, while he missed the last five matches of the season with an injury problem. He previously played in the Premier League for Chelsea, while in Germany he played for Stuttgart and Leipzig.

H Τότεναμ ανακοίνωσε πως έφτασε σε συμφωνία με τη Λειψία για την επέκταση του δανεισμού του Τίμο Βέρνερ, για ακόμα ένα χρόνο.

Κάτοικος Λονδίνου για (τουλάχιστον) ακόμα μια σεζόν ο Τίμο Βέρνερ. Ο Γερμανός επιθετικός αγωνίστηκε στο δεύτερο μισό της σεζόν στην Τότεναμ, με εξάμηνο δανεισμό από τη Λειψία και οι Σπερς αποφάσισαν να τον κρατήσουν για ακόμα μια σεζόν.

Όπως ανακοίνωσαν οι Λονδρέζοι ο 28χρονος επιθετικός θα συνεχίσει στην Τότεναμ για ακόμα μια χρονιά, με τη μορφή δανεισμού, ενώ το deal των δυο πλευρών περιλαμβάνει και οψιόν αγοράς, της τάξης των 15-16 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ.

Ο Γερμανός στο δεύτερο μισό της σεζόν μέτρησε 14 εμφανίσεις με τη φανέλα των Σπερς, με δυο γκολ και τρεις ασίστ, ενώ έχασε τα πέντε τελευταία ματς της σεζόν με πρόβλημα τραυματισμού. Στο παρελθόν είχε αγωνιστεί στην Premier League για λογαριασμό της Τσέλσι, ενώ στη Γερμανία έχει παίξει σε Στουτγκάρδη και Λειψία.
