As emphasized, the intention of the Monegasques is to ensure guaranteed participation for a long period of time, while they intend to proceed with the construction of a new and large stadium that will replace the... unsuitable "Gaston Médecins".

Monaco has been participating in the EuroLeague since 2021 and since then has become one of the most consistent teams in the competition, appearing in the playoffs in three consecutive seasons.

Λίγες μέρες μετά τα δημοσιεύματα περί οικονομικών προβλημάτων στη Μονακό, ρεπορτάζ του Basketnews αναφέρει πως η ομάδα του Πριγκιπάτου όχι μόνο δεν χάνει έδαφος, αλλά-απεναντίας-θέλει να μονιμοποιηθεί στην Ευρωλίγκα.

Όπως τονίζεται, πρόθεση των Μονεγάσκων είναι να εξασφαλίσουν εγγυημένη συμμετοχή για ένα μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα, ενώ προτίθενται να προχωρήσουν στην κατασκευή ενός νέου και μεγάλου γηπέδου που θα αντικαταστήσει το… ακατάλληλο «Γκαστόν Μεντεσέν».

Η Μονακό συμμετέχει στην Ευρωλίγκα από το 2021 και έκτοτε έχει γίνει μια από τις πιο συνεπείς ομάδες της διοργάνωσης έχοντας παρουσία στα playoffs σε τρεις συνεχείς σεζόν.
