"Fighting" with the victory of Volos and Panaitolikos, they completed seven and five matches respectively without a win in the Super League race and were limited to... the poor score of a draw (1-1) in the match that opened the curtain of the 21st matchday at Panthessalikos.

The game gained a good pace from the very first minutes with the guests taking the lead in the 8th minute with Sengelia scoring.

The Georgian winger stepped into the home team's area and with an excellent placement sent the ball into Kovacs' little window (0-1).

Draw (1-1) with Garcia

The "answer" of the Thessalian team came in the 15th minute. Mygas with a nice individual effort passed two opponents and made a diagonal shot with Stergiakis blocking and the incoming Garcia with his knee sent it into the net (1-1).

In the rest of the period until the end of the first half, the two teams each had a good final effort.

For Volos, Myga's shot went just outside the right vertical post in the 35', while for the Agrinio team, a shot by Karelis was pushed into a corner by Kovacs with the help of the post in the 45+2'.

In the first minutes of the second half, Panaitolikos was better on the pitch, but without threatening the hosts' goal.

Volos threatened in the 68th minute when after a cross and a mistimed exit from Stergiakis, Moraitis caught the header just outside the right vertical post.

In the remaining minutes there were no noteworthy phases, neither team managed to find the way to the net and the draw (1-1) "locked" the match.

Volos remains low in the standings and at +4 from the danger zone, completed seven matches without a win (one draw – six defeats) with the last "three points" in Lamia on December 17.

Fifth straight defeat for Panaitolikos in the league race, with the Agrinio team now +3 from 13th place leading Super League 2.

Referee Maloutas (Imathia) showed a yellow card to Sengelia, Garcia, Peres, Tsokani, Mladen, Oikonomou.

«Τσακωμένοι» με τη νίκη Βόλος και Παναιτωλικός, συμπλήρωσαν επτά και πέντε ματς αντίστοιχα χωρίς νίκη στην κούρσα της Super League και περιοριρίστηκαν στο...φτωχό βαθμό της ισοπαλίας (1-1) στην αναμέτρηση που άνοιξε την αυλαία της 21ης αγωνιστικής στο Πανθεσσαλικό.

Το παιχνίδι απέκτησε καλό ρυθμό απ΄τα πρώτα κιόλας λεπτά με τους φιλοξενούμενους να αποκτούν το προβάδισμα στο 8ο λεπτό με σκόρερ τον Σενγκέλια.

Ο Γεωργιανός εξτρέμ πάτησε στην περιοχή των γηπεδούχων και με εξαιρετικό πλασέ έστειλε την μπάλα στο…παραθυράκι του Κόβατς (0-1).

Ισοφάριση (1-1) με τον Γκαρσία

Η «απάντηση» της θεσσαλικής ομάδας ήρθε στο 15΄. Ο Μύγας με ωραία ατομική προσπάθεια πέρασε δύο αντιπάλους κι έκανε το διαγώνιο σουτ με τον Στεργιάκη να αποκρούει και ο ερχόμενος Γκαρσία με το γόνατο την έστειλε στα δίχτυα (1-1).

Στον υπόλοιπο διάστημα μέχρι και την λήξη του α΄ημιχρόνου, οι δύο ομάδες είχαν από μια καλή τελική προσπάθεια.

Για τον Βόλο το σουτ του Μύγα έφυγε λίγο έξω από το δεξί κάθετο δοκάρι στο 35΄, ενώ για την ομάδα του Αγρινίου ένα σουτ του Καρέλη έδιωξε σε κόρνερ ο Κόβατς με την συνδρομή του δοκαριού στο 45+2΄.

Στα πρώτα λεπτά του β΄ημιχρόνου ο Παναιτωλικός πατούσε καλύτερα στον αγωνιστικό χώρο, χωρίς όμως να απειλεί τα καρέ των γηπεδούχων.

Ο Βόλος απείλησε στο 68΄όταν μετά από σέντρα και άστοχη έξοδο του Στεργιάκη, ο Μωραίτης έπιασε την κεφαλιά λίγο έξω από το δεξί κάθετο δοκάρι.

Στα εναπομείναντα λεπτά δεν υπήρξαν αξιόλογες φάσεις, καμία από τις δύο ομάδες δεν κατάφερε να βρει το δρόμο προς τα δίχτυα και η ισοπαλία (1-1) «κλείδωσε» την αναμέτρηση.

Ο Βόλος παραμένει χαμηλά στη βαθμολογία και στο +4 από την επικίνδυνη ζώνη, συμπλήρωσε επτά ματς χωρίς νίκη (μία ισοπαλία – έξι ήττες) με τελευταίο «τρίποντο» στη Λαμία στις 17 Δεκεμβρίου.

Πέμπτη σερί ήττα για τον Παναιτωλικό στη κούρσα του πρωταθλήματος, με την ομάδα του Αγρινίου να βρίσκεται στο +3 από την 13η θέση που οδηγεί στη Super League 2.

Ο διαιτητής Μαλούτας (Ημαθίας) έδειξε κίτρινη κάρτα στους Σενγκέλια, Γκαρσία, Πέρες, Τσοκάνη, Μλάντεν, Οικονόμου.
