Ederson was named the best goalkeeper in the world for 2023 at the FIFA awards, leaving Thibaut Courtois and Yassin Bono behind.
The "Cerberus" of Manchester City, the best goalkeeper in the world for 2023! Ederson was a key figure in the impressive Citizens who swept everything in their path in 2023 and was honored with the ultimate distinction at the FIFA Gala for The Best award.
Although he was surprisingly left out of the starting line-up of the season with Thibaut Courtois taking a place under the posts, the Brazilian goalkeeper edged out the Belgian in the voting for the best goalkeeper of 2023.
In particular, Ederson collected 23 points and won the award, Thibaut Courtois came second with twenty, while Yassin Bono completed the podium with 16 points.

Κορυφαίος τερματοφύλακας στον κόσμο για το 2023 αναδείχθηκε ο Έντερσον στα βραβεία της FIFA, αφήνοντας πίσω τους Τιμπό Κουρτουά και Γιασίν Μπόνο.
Ο «κέρβερος» της Μάντσεστερ Σίτι, ο κορυφαίος γκολκίπερ στον κόσμο για το 2023! Ο Έντερσον αποτέλεσε βασικό στέλεχος των εντυπωσιακών Citizens που σάρωσαν τα πάντα στο διάβα τους μέσα στο 2023 και τιμήθηκε με την απόλυτη διάκριση στα Gala της FIFA για το βραβείο The Best.
Αν και παραδόξως δεν βρέθηκε στην κορυφαία ενδεκάδα της σεζόν με τον Τιμπό Κουρτουά να παίρνει θέση κάτω από τα δοκάρια, ο Βραζιλιάνος γκολκίπερ άφησε πίσω του τον Βέλγο στην ψηφοφορία για τον καλύτερο τερματοφύλακα του 2023.
Συγκεκριμένα ο Έντερσον συγκέντρωσε 23 βαθμούς και κατέκτησε το βραβείο, ο Τιμπό Κουρτουά ήρθε δεύτερος με είκοσι, ενώ το βάθρο συμπλήρωσε ο Γιασίν Μπόνο με 16 πόντους.
