The Thunder renewed with Daignault
The Oklahoma City Thunder have renewed their partnership with Mark Daigneault for the next few years.
The continuation of their collaboration with their coach was ensured by the Thunder.
Oklahoma City has renewed its partnership with Mark Daigneault, who signed a multi-year contract extension.
During the 2022-23 season, Daigneault led the Thunder to a 40-42 record and the play-ins, where they made it one win before ultimately being eliminated from the playoffs by the Timberwolves. The team's 16-win improvement ranked second in the NBA and at the end of the season, the American coach finished second in voting for the 2023 NBA Coach of the Year.
Daigneault finished second to Sacramento’s Mike Brown in coach of the year voting.
