As reported by "Gazzetta dello Sport" and "Sport Mediaset", Napoli is very close to an agreement with the Georgian midfielder, who enchanted in his first season in Italy and was one of the protagonists in the course of the "partenopei" until the conquest of the scudetto .
According to the Italian media, the 22-year-old, in consultation with his agent, were the ones who asked for the renewal, wanting an increase to the mere 1.2 million euros he will receive for the first year of his contract.

Όπως αναφέρουν «Gazzetta dello Sport» και «Sport Mediaset», η Νάπολι βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά σε συμφωνία με τον Γεωργιανό μεσοεπιθετικό, ο οποίος μάγεψε στην πρώτη του σεζόν στην Ιταλία και ήταν εκ των πρωταγωνιστών στην πορεία των «παρτενοπέι» μέχρι την κατάκτηση του σκουντέτο.
Σύμφωνα με τα ιταλικά Μέσα, ο 22χρονος σε συνεννόηση με την ατζέντη του, ήταν εκείνοι που ζήτησαν την ανανέωση, θέλοντας αύξηση στα μόλις 1,2 εκατ. ευρώ που θα λάβει για τον πρώτο χρόνο του συμβολαίου του.
Το νέο συμβόλαιό του θα έχει διάρκεια έως το 2028 και θα του αποφέρει 3 εκατ. ευρώ ετησίως, κάνοντάς τον τον τέταρτο πιο ακριβοπληρωμένο ποδοσφαιριστή της Νάπολι, πίσω από Οσιμέν, Λοσάνο και Ζιελίνσκι.
