Shaquille: "Every time I went to practice in our preseason... they got swept"

Shaquille O'Neal went back in time and gave his own explanation for Kobe Bryant's accusations that he never showed up ready to be physically fit at Lakers camps.

Shaquille O'Neal sat down on "The Big Podcast" recently, and among other things, he was asked to answer a question that Kobe Bryant once put on the table, saying that the Lakers' beastly center never got ... in shape after offseason and in preparation for the new season.

"Shack" didn't disagree, he just explained why this was happening. In particular he stated that "I always ask this world... "you didn't come to the camp in shape. What year are you referring to exactly? Who else tall could do what I did? No one! Which comes back to what I said, my will .I've been eating ... wood all year and I wanted to spend time with my family, so I wasn't showing up to camps ready," O'Neal initially said.

While, in fact, he laughed and stood on a certain...crazy incident. "It's been crazy that the times I've been fit, we've been... wiped out. So who is right?'

Undoubtedly, Kobe and Shaquille formed one of the most dominant duos in the history of the NBA and after the triple trophy "bent", with the trade of O'Neal following. Whether his physical condition was to blame will remain unknown.

Ο Σακίλ Ο'Νιλ γύρισε τον χρόνο πίσω και έδωσε τη δική του εξήγηση για τις... κατηγορίες του Κόμπι Μπράιαντ πως δεν εμφανίστηκε ποτέ έτοιμος σε φυσική κατάσταση στα καμπ των Λέικερς.

Ο Σακίλ Ο'Νιλ κάθισε στην καρέκλα του "The Big Podcast" πρόσφατα και μεταξύ άλλων κλήθηκε να απαντήσει σε ένα ζήτημα που είχε βάλει κάποτε στο τραπέζι ο Κόμπι Μπράιαντ λέγοντας πως ο θηριώδης σέντερ των Λέικερς δεν πήγαινε ποτέ... σε φόρμα μετά την offseason και στην προετοιμασία της νέας σεζόν.

Ο "Σακ" δεν διαφώνησε, παρά μόνο εξήγησε το γιατί συνέβαινε αυτό. Συγκεκριμένα δήλωσε πως «Πάντα ρωτάω τον κόσμο αυτό... "δεν ήρθες στο καμπ σε φόρμα. Σε ποια χρονιά αναφέσαι ακριβώς; Ποιος άλλος ψηλός μπορούσε να κάνει αυτά που έκανα εγώ; Κανείς! Που έρχεται πίσω σε αυτό που είπα, την θέλησή μου. Έτρωγα... ξύλο όλο το χρόνο και ήθελα να αφιερώσω χρόνο στην οικογένειά μου, για αυτό δεν εμφανιζόμουν στα καμπ έτοιμος» είπε αρχικά ο Ο'Νιλ.

Ενώ, μάλιστα, γέλασε και στάθηκε σε ένα συγκεκριμένο...τρελό περιστατικό. «Ήταν κάτι τρελό το ότι τις φορές που εμφανίστηκα σε φόρμα, μας... σκούπισαν. Οπότε ποιος είναι σωστός;».

Αναμφίβολα Κόμπι και Σακίλ διαμόρφωσαν ένα από τα πιο κυριαρχικά δίδυμα στην ιστορία του ΝΒΑ και μετά το...τριπλό τρόπαιο «λύγισαν», με το trade του Ο'Νιλ να ακολουθεί. Το αν έφταιγε η φυσική του κατάσταση θα παραμείνει άγνωστο.
