Virtus prevailed 85-76 against Alba and achieved their first victory, after four straight defeats – the 10th consecutive match that the Germans leave with their heads down!
With Virtus Bologna taking advantage of its home ground and winning 85-76 against Alba Berlin, the 13th matchday of the Euroleague was completed. The Italians got their first win after four straight losses to improve to 5-8, while Alba lost for the 10th straight game and fell to 3-10!
The top scorer for Sergio Scariolot's team was Mam Jaite with 13 points, while Weems, Hackett, Bako and Teodosic were also outstanding, who finished the match with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in 20 minutes of participation.
Of the visitors, who continue their disappointing course, only Sikma was saved, who had 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in 26 minutes of participation.
The game in the first quarter was a derby, with the two teams going hand in hand in the score (7-8, 12-9. 14-13) and Virtus closing the period at +3 (18-15). They remained focused and playing smart they increased the difference again to 11 (73-62), with the Italians reaching 82-73 with relative comfort and celebrating their 5th victory in this year's tournament.

Η Βίρτους επικράτησε με 85-76 της Αλμπα και πέτυχε την πρώτη της νίκη, μετά από τέσσερις σερί ήττες – 10ο συνεχόμενο ματς που φεύγουν με κατεβασμένο το κεφάλι οι Γερμανοί!
Με την Βίρτους Μπολόνια να εκμεταλλεύεται την έδρα της και να επικρατεί με 85-76 της Αλμπα Βερολίνου ολοκληρώθηκε η 13η αγωνιστική της Euroleague. Οι Ιταλοί πέτυχαν την πρώτη τους νίκη μετά από τέσσερις σερί ήττες και ανέβηκαν στο 5-8, ενώ η Αλμπα έχασε για 10ο σερί παιχνίδι και έπεσε στο 3-10!
Πρώτος σκόρερ για την ομάδα του Σέρτζιο Σκαριόλοήταν ο Μαμ Τζαϊτέ με 13 πόντους, ενώ εξαιρετικοί ήταν επίσης οι Γουίμς, Χάκετ, Μπακό και Τεόντοσιτς, ο οποίος ολοκλήρωσε το ματς με 11 πόντους, 5 ριμπάουντ και 9 ασίστ σε 20 λεπτά συμμετοχής.
Από τους φιλοξενούμενους, που συνεχίζουν την απογοητευτική τους πορεία, διασώθηκε μόνο ο Σίκμα, που είχε 16 πόντους, 6 ριμπάουντ και 5 ασίστ σε 26 λεπτά συμμετοχής.

Η κυριαρχία της Βίρτους συνεχίστηκε στο τρίτο δεκάλεπτο (47-35), με τους Ιταλούς να είναι σταθερά μπροστά στο σκορ και να μπαίνουν στην τελευταία περίοδο με προβάδισμα 11 πόντων (63-52). Στο τελευταίο κομμάτι του παιχνιδιού οι Γερμανοί προσπάθησαν να αντιδράσουν και μείωσαν στους 6 (63-57), αλλά οι γηπεδούχοι δεν πτοήθηκαν. Παρέμειναν συγκεντρωμένοι και παίζοντας έξυπνα ανέβασαν ξανά τη διαφορά στους 11 (73-62), με τους Ιταλούς να φτάνουν με σχετική άνεση στο 82-73 και να πανηγυρίζουν την 5η νίκη τους στη φετινή διοργάνωση.
