Apollon Patrons announced the signing of Cecil Williams, confirming the SDNA report.

SDNA had informed you about the parent team's advanced contacts with the American ace, which finally resulted in an agreement.

The announcement in detail:

"KAE Apollon 1926 Carna, announces the start of its cooperation with the 27-year-old American forward, Cecil Williams (1.98 m.) who will soon be in Patras to get a job.

Cecil Williams is a player with considerable experience, he started the season in Turkish, Tofas, with whom in three league games he had 5.7 ppg. and two rebounds in almost 18 minutes of participation.

He also has European experience in the past with a presence in Poland (Enea Zastal BC Zielona) and Romania (CS Dinamo Bucuresti) while he started his career at the Central Michigan Chippewas College.

Ο Απόλλων Πατρών ανακοίνωσε την απόκτηση του Σέσιλ Ουίλιαμς, επιβεβαιώνοντας το ρεπορτάζ του SDNA.

Το SDNA σας είχε ενημερώσει για τις προχωρημένες επαφές της πατρινής ομάδας με τον Αμερικανό άσο, που τελικά κατέληξε σε συμφωνία.

«Η ΚΑΕ Απόλλων 1926 Carna, ανακοινώνει την έναρξη της συνεργασίας της με τον 27χρονο Αμερικανό φόργουρντ, Cecil Williams (1,98 μ.) ο οποίος σύντομα θα είναι στην Πάτρα για να πιάσει δουλειά.

Ο Cecil Williams είναι παίκτης με σημαντική εμπειρία, ξεκίνησε τη σεζόν στην Τουρκική, Τόφας, με την οποία σε τρία παιχνίδια πρωταθλήματος είχε 5,7 πόντους μ.ο. και δύο ριμπάουντ σε σχεδόν 18 λεπτά συμμετοχής.

Επίσης στο παρελθόν έχει ευρωπαϊκή εμπειρία με παρουσία σε Πολωνία (Enea Zastal BC Zielona) και Ρουμανία (CS Dinamo Bucuresti) ενώ  ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του από το κολλέγιο Central Michigan Chippewas».
