Barcelona entered the floor against Fenerbahce, knowing that the victory will give them - and mathematically - the 1st place of the regular season, a week before facing Olympiakos. The players of Saronas Yasikevitsos showed that they do not want to get into more discussion, dominated the first possessions and got the comfortable victory (88-67) against the Turkish team, which is looking for a small miracle now to catch up with the octave.

Η Μπαρτσελόνα έκανε περίπατο απέναντι στη Φενέρμπαχτσε, πήρε τη νίκη (88-67) και εξασφάλισε μαθηματικά την 1η θέση της regular season. Λίγες μαθηματικές ελπίδες για την οκτάδα έχει η τουρκική ομάδα.
Η Μπαρτσελόνα μπήκε στο παρκέ απέναντι στη Φενέρμπαχτσε, γνωρίζοντας πως η νίκη θα της δώσει -και μαθηματικά- την 1η θέση της regular season, μια βδομάδα πριν αντιμετωπίσει τον Ολυμπιακό. Οι παίκτες του Σαρούνας Γιασικεβίτσους έδειξαν λοιπόν πως δεν θέλουν να μπουν σε περισσότερη συζήτηση, κυριάρχησαν από τις πρώτες κατοχές και πήραν την άνετη νίκη (88-67) απέναντι στην τουρκική ομάδα, η οποία ψάχνει ένα μικρό θαύμα πλέον για να προλάβει την οκτάδα.

Οι γηπεδούχοι δεν άφησαν τους φιλοξενούμενους να πάρουν ανάσα, από το πρώτο κιόλας λεπτό. Με τον Άλεξ Αμπρίνες να είναι... on fire, η Μπαρτσελόνα έφτασε πολύ γρήγορα στο +11 (16-5 στο 4'), καταδεικνύοντας πως δεν πρόκειται να δώσει το παραμικρό δικαίωμα αμφισβήτησης της υπεροχής της. Παρά τις προσπάθειες της Φενέρμπαχτσε άλλωστε, ο Νίκολα Μίροτιτς και η παρέα του δεν έδειχναν να προβληματίζονται.
Ο "Νίκο" ήταν αυτός που διατήρησε τη διαφορά ασφαλείας για την Μπαρτσελόνα στο ημίχρονο (42-34), πριν έρθει η καταιγίδα.
Οι μπλαουγκράνα έπαιξαν άμυνα για σεμινάριο, σούταραν με τρομερή συνέπεια από την περιφέρεια (σταθερά πάνω από το 60%) και εκτόξευσαν το προβάδισμα που είχαν πάνω από το +20 (71-49) με την ολοκλήρωση της τρίτης περιόδου. Όπως αντιλαμβάνεστε, ό,τι είχε να συμβεί από εκεί κι έπειτα ήταν διαδικαστικού χαρακτήρα, αφού η Φενέρμπαχτσε δεν είχε τις επιλογές, τους τρόπους και τη διαύγεια για να πετύχει το θαύμα.
