Η ψυχωμένη Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης με σύνθεση ανάγκης και πολλές τρανταχτές απουσίες, άντεξε απέναντι στην ΤΣΣΚΑ Μόσχας και επικράτησε με 71-65 για την 17η αγωνιστική της EuroLeague και παρέμεινε στην δεύτερη θέση της βαθμολογίας.

Τι κι αν κατέβηκε στο ματς με σύνθεση ανάγκης λόγω των πολλών κρουσμάτων κορονοϊού, η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης με μόλις πέντε παίκτες διαθέσιμους από το βασικό της ρόστερ και με αρκετούς εφήβους στην αποστολή επικράτησε της ΤΣΣΚΑ Μόσχας με 71-65 στη Μαδρίτη για τη 17η αγωνιστική της EuroLeague. Οι Μαδριλένοι έδειξαν ψυχή και με τη δύναμη της έδρας τους αλλά και με τους Ταβάρες και Γουίλιαμς-Γκος να βγαίνουν μπροστά, θα κάνουν Χριστούγεννα στη δεύτερη θέση της βαθμολογίας.

Η ΤΣΣΚΑ Μόσχας που βρίσκεται πλέον στο 10-7 έχασε μεγάλη ευκαιρία να φύγει με το διπλό, δεν εκμεταλλεύτηκε τις πολλές και τρανταχτές απουσίες των γηπεδούχων παράλληλα με την καλή ημέρα του Μιλουτίνοβ και έπεσε στην 7η θέση της βαθμολογίας.

Στις κερκίδες του γηπέδου βρέθηκε και ο Βασίλης Σπανούλης που παρακολούθησε από κοντά το ματς.

Ο αγώνας

Η Ρεάλ ήταν αποδεκατισμένη όμως αυτό δεν την εμπόδισε από το να μπει δυναμικά στο ματς και να προηγηθεί με 17-5 στο 7΄. Με σύνθεση ανάγκης αλλά με όλους τους παίκτες να προσφέρουν από κάτι, οι Μαδριλένοι έδειξαν ψυχή και αιφνιδίασαν τους παίκτες του Ιτούδη που ξεκίνησαν με 2/9 σουτ. Η Ρεάλ είχε από νωρίς 4 κλεψίματα και έδειξε συνοχή σε ένα ματς που τα προγνωστικά δεν ήταν υπέρ της. Για τους φιλοξενούμενους οι Μιλουτίνοβ και Κλάιμπερν σήκωσαν το βάρος στην επίθεση αλλά δεν ήταν αρκετοί.

Οι φιλοξενούμενοι συμμάζεψαν άμεσα τα πράγματα με τον Μιλουτίνοβ να παίρνει πρωτοβουλίες στην επίθεση, όμως οι γηπεδούχοι ανέβασαν και πάλι τη διαφορά στους 10 παίζοντας πολύ καλό και ομαδικό μπάσκετ. Η ΤΣΣΚΑ Μόσχας βρήκε λύσεις προσπέρασε στο σκορ και πήγε στα αποδυτήρια προηγούμενη με τρεις πόντους.

Στο δεύτερο μισό η αποφασιστικότητα της Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης επέστρεψε, μαζί και το προβάδισμα στο σκορ. Το ματς ήταν ντέρμπι και οι δύο ομάδες πάλευαν το ίδιο παρά τη διαφορά στη διαθεσιμότητα των παικτών.
