Argyropoulos (three goals) and Foundoulis (two goals) also contributed significantly to the game, with the three players scoring a total of eight of Greece's ten goals.

Η Εθνική πόλο ανδρών επιβλήθηκε 10-8 της Γαλλίας στο εναρκτήριο παιχνίδι της για το World League Super Final.

Με το δεξί ξεκίνησε η Εθνική πόλο ανδρών την πορεία της στο World League Super final που πραγματοποιείται στην Τιφλίδα της Γεωργίας.

Το σύνολο του Θοδωρή Βλάχου επιβλήθηκε 10-8 της Γαλλίας και έκανε το πρώτο βήμα για την πρόκριση στα ημιτελικά.

Μεγάλος πρωταγωνιστής του ματς ήταν ο Ντίνος Γεννηδουνιάς, ο οποίος «απάντησε» με δυο γκολ στην ισοφάριση (8-8) των Γάλλων πέντε λεπτά πριν την λήξη και έδωσε τη νίκη στην ομάδα του.

Σημαντικά στο παιχνίδι συνέβαλλαν και οι Αργυρόπουλος (τρία τέρματα) και Φουντούλης (δύο τέρματα), με τους τρεις παίκτες να πετυχαίνουν συνολικά τα οκτώ από τα δέκα γκολ της Ελλάδας.

Επόμενος αντίπαλος για την Εθνική είναι η Ιταλία αύριο Κυριακή (27/6) στις 17:15.
