Outside Team USA Curry and Mitchell
The process of completing Team USA's mission for the Tokyo Olympics is in progress, but it will not include Steve Carey and Donovan Mitchell.
Yesterday Kevin Durand, earlier today James Harden, announced that they will participate in the US national team at the Olympics, but this is not the case for the Warriors and Jazz guards.
Carrie decided not to take part in the mission, while Mitchell, for his part, chose to stay out in order to fully restore the problem in his right ankle.
After getting an invitation to join Team USA for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell has declined the opportunity, sources tell ESPN. Instead, Mitchell will use the time to recover and rehab from his right ankle injury. Warriors star Stephen Curry has opted against playing for Team USA in the Tokyo Olympics this summer, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater. Curry had been deciding on participating over the last few weeks, and USAB expected him to be out of the available pool.
