Panathinaikos anemic, "dropped" without a fight in the City

A tragic Panathinaikos, especially in the first half, was defeated by 78-62 from Anadolu Efes in Constantinople.


Under the circumstances, Panathinaikos was presented in the City and fully surrendered to the wild moods of Anadolou Efes to suffer his third defeat (78-62) in this year's Euroleague.

And instead of Panathinaikos being revived in the second quarter, the Turks escaped even more. Although the "green" dropped to 21-16 with three-pointer of Thomas (12 '), but the hosts reacted and with an 11-2 score totaled to +14 (32-18 at 14').

With two consecutive goal-fouls from Thomas and Pappa, the "clover" dropped somewhat (32-24 at 15 '), but it was still temporary: with 8-0, Efes made the difference for the first time at +16 40-24 at 17 '). Ένας τραγικός Παναθηναϊκός, ειδικά στο πρώτο ημίχρονο, ηττήθηκε 78-62 από την Αναντολού Εφές στην Κωνσταντινούπολη. 

Κατώτερος των περιστάσεων παρουσιάστηκε στην Πόλη ο Παναθηναϊκός και παραδόθηκε πλήρως στις άγριες διαθέσεις της Αναντολού Εφές για να υποστεί την 3η ήττα του (78-62) στη φετινή Ευρωλίγκα. 

Πραγματοποιώντας τη χειρότερη φετινή του εμφάνιση στον επιθετικό τομέα, το «τριφύλλι» δεν μπόρεσε ποτέ να βρει ρυθμό και να περάσει μπροστά στο σκορ. Εκτός τόπου και χρόνου οι παίκτες του Πασκουάλ στο πρώτο ημίχρονο, βρέθηκαν πίσω με 16 πόντους (44-28). 

Στο δεύτερο μέρος, οι «πράσινοι» βελτιώθηκαν, ωστόσο δεν αρκούσε για να αποφύγουν την ήττα. Πρώτοι σκόρερ οι Τόμας, Καλάθης με 11 έκαστος, πάλεψε στο δεύτερο 20λεπτο ο Αντετοκούνμπο (8 πόντοι), αρνητικός πάλι ο Λάνγκφορντ. 

Το ματς 

Ο Παναθηναϊκός ξεκίνησε πολύ νευρικά τον αγώνα, ειδικά στην επίθεση και δεν μπορούσε να βρει εύκολα καλάθια. Από την άλλη, η Εφές έψαχνε σκορ συνεχώς μέσω τριπόντων και κάπως έτσι προηγήθηκε 6-1 στο πρώτο τρίλεπτο. 

Οι «πράσινοι» συνέχισαν να μην έχουν καθόλου συγκέντρωση και καθαρό μυαλό στο παιχνίδι τους, με συνέπεια να βρεθεί στο -9 (12-3 στο 6’). Οι παίκτες του Πασκουάλ δεν παρουσίασαν σημάδια βελτίωσης κάνοντας έξαλλο τον Ισπανό τεχνικό, ο οποίος άλλαξε τα 4/5 της αρχικής του πεντάδας προσπαθώντας να βρει λύσεις. 

Οι Τούρκοι ξέφυγαν με διψήφια διαφορά (15-5 στο 8’), ενώ από την άλλη πλευρά ο Λοτζέσκι κρατούσε όρθιο το «τριφύλλι». Η Εφές έκλεισε την πρώτη περίοδο στο +8 (19-11), με την ομάδα του Πασκουάλ να ψάχνεται σε αυτό το διάστημα. 

Και αντί να υπάρξει ανάκαμψη του Παναθηναϊκού στο δεύτερο δεκάλεπτο, οι Τούρκοι ξέφυγαν ακόμα περισσότερο. Ναι μεν οι «πράσινοι» μείωσαν σε 21-16 με τρίποντο του Τόμας (12’), αλλά οι γηπεδούχοι αντέδρασαν και με ένα επιμέρους σκορ 11-2 έφτασαν στο +14 (32-18 στο 14’).
