The English midfielder counted 648 players with Chelsea in all the events, and in 2008 he scored his 100th goal with the club and became the eighth player in the history of the team.

Στο Hall of Fame του ποδοσφαίρου μπήκε το βράδυ της Δευτέρας (8/10) ο Φρανκ Λάμπαρντ, σε μια φαντασμαγορική εκδήλωση που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Λονδίνο.
Ο θρυλικός παίκτης και άλλοτε αρχηγός της Τσέλσι, Φρανκ Λάμπαρντ, παραλαμβάνοντας το βραβείο του εντάχθηκε και επίσημα στο Hall of Fame του ποδοσφαίρου.
Στο πλευρό του βρέθηκαν οι επιστήθιοι φίλοι του Τζον Τέρι, οι Τζέιμι και Χάρι Ρέντναπ, αλλά και οι Σβεν Γκόραν Έρικσον και Κλαούντιο Ρανιέρι. Ακόμη, οι Μουρίνιο, Ντρογμπά και Κομπανί έστειλαν μέσω βίντεο το μήνυμα τους, καθώς απουσίαζαν από την εκδήλωση.
Υπενθυμίζεται πως ο «μπλε» θρύλος αγωνίστηκε στο λονδρέζικο σύλλογο από τη σεζόν 2001/02 μέχρι τη σεζόν 2013-14 και κατέκτησε 3 Πρωταθλήματα Αγγλίας, 4 Κύπελλα Αγγλίας, 2 Σούπερ Καπ Αγγλίας, 2 Λιγκ Καπ Αγγλίας και 1 Champions League και 1 Europa League.
Ο Άγγλος μέσος μέτρησε 648 συμμέτοχες με την Τσέλσι σε όλες τις διοργανώσεις, ενώ το 2008 πέτυχε το 100ό γκολ του με τον σύλλογο και γίνεται ο όγδοος παίκτης στην ιστορία της ομάδας που το καταφέρνει.
Σήμερα ο 40χρονος διεθνής έχει στην συλλογή του 2 βραβεία καλύτερου παίκτη της χρονιάς της Πρέμιερ Λιγκ, 3 βραβεία ως ο καλύτερος παίκτης της Τσέλσι, ενώ το 2005 κέρδισε το δεύτερο βραβείο για τον παίκτη της χρονιάς από τη FIFA.
