El Giovanni Simeone recordado a través de las redes sociales el día en que entró en el estadio junto con su padre para celebrar una de las 100 entradas en el equipo representativo y ahora es un miembro de la selección argentina.

Από την παρουσία του στο γήπεδο ως πιτσιρίκι στην 100η συμμετοχή του πατέρα του με την «αλμπισελέστε», ο γιος του Ντιέγκο Σιμεόνε, Τζιοβάνι έφτασε στη μέρα που έκανε εκείνος το ντεμπούτο του με την εθνική ομάδα και μάλιστα σκόραρε!
«Ο πατέρας μου, μου είπε κάποτε ότι θα έρθει και για μένα η μέρα που θα φορέσω τη φανέλα της Αργεντινής» θυμάται ο νεαρός επιθετικός που ανήκει στη Φιορεντίνα και ήταν εκείνος που με ωραίο πλασέ από πολύ πλάγια θέση έγραψε το τελικό 3-0 για την εθνική ομάδα της πατρίδας του στη φιλική νίκη επί της Γουατεμάλας, τα ξημερώματα του Σαββάτου.
Ο Τζιοβάνι Σιμεόνε, θυμήθηκε μέσω social media την ημέρα που μπήκε στο γήπεδο μαζί με τον πατέρα του για να γιορτάσει εκείνος τις 100 συμμετοχές με το αντιπροσωπευτικό συγκρότημα και πλέον είναι εκείνος μέλος της εθνικής ομάδας της Αργεντινής.
