Η Dubai BC δεν χάνει εύκολα στην Coca Cola Arena και πέτυχε ακόμα μία νίκη, επικρατώντας 99-92 της Αρμάνι για τη 18η αγωνιστική της EuroLeague. Τρομερό επιθετικό καρέ με Ράιτ, Μπέικον, Πετρούσεβ και Καμπενγκέλε σε καλό βράδυ.

Ασταμάτητη η επιθετική τετράδα των Ράιτ, Μπέικον, Πετρούσεβ Καμπενγκέλε των γηπεδούχων, με τους φιλοξενούμενους να κάνουν μεγάλη προσπάθεια να επανέλθουν στο παιχνίδι σε διάφορα διαστήματα, αλλά να μην παίρνουν προβάδισμα ποτέ στο παιχνίδι.

Κορυφαίος για ακόμα ένα βράδυ ο Μακίνλεϊ Ράιτ που άγγιξε το νταμπλ νταμπλ με 19 πόντους (5/8 δίποντα, 0/2 τρίποντα, 9/10 βολές) και 9 ασίστ, ενώ ο Μπέικον πέτυχε 25 πόντους (5/12 δίποντα, 3/6 τρίποντα, 6/9 βολές).

Καλό παιχνίδι από τον Γκούντουριτς με 11 πόντους, 7 ριμπάουντ και 7 ασίστ, αλλά και τον Νίμπο με 15 πόντους, που όμως δεν κατάφεραν να ανταγωνιστούν τους παίκτες του Γκόλεματς.

Έτσι η Dubai BC έφτασε την Αρμάνι στο 9-9, έχοντας μάλιστα 7-2 στις εντός έδρας αναμετρήσεις της (σ.σ. με τη μία ήττα να μην είναι στην Coca Cola Arena)

Ο αγώνας

Οι παίκτες του Γκόλεματς μπήκαν στο παιχνίδι με φοβερή ένταση σοκάροντας τους φιλοξενούμενους. Τον παλμό έδωσε ο Μφιόντου Καμπενγκέλε που πέτυχε 10 πόντους στην πρώτη περίοδο και είχε 4 ριμπάουντ με 3 επιθετικά. Από 6 πόντους είχαν ο Πετρούσεβ και ο Μπέικον, με τον Ράιτ να έχει ήδη 5 ασίστ στα πρώτα 10′ με το 31-20 να έρχεται μοιραία.

Στη δεύτερη περίοδο οι γηπεδούχοι ξεκίνησαν με Ράιτ, Καμπενγκέλε και Πετρούσεβ στον πάγκο, με τον Μπέικον να τραβάει την ομάδα επιθετικά. Όμως η Αρμάνι είχε το περιθώριο να βρει ρυθμό στην επίθεση, με τον Νίμπο και τον Γκούντουριτς τη φέρνουν σε απόσταση βολής (44-42).

Κάπου εκεί επέστρεψε η πρώτη πεντάδα των γηπεδούχων στο παρκέ με τον Ράιτ να οδηγεί την ομάδα του στα αποδυτήρια με διαφορά 7 πόντων (56-49).

Το δεύτερο μέρος ο Γκόλεματς ξεκίνησε με Ράιτ, Μπέικον, Πετρούσεβ και Καμπενγκέλε ταυτόχρονα στο παρκέ με πέμπτο τον Αμπάς. Μία σύνθεση είναι πολύ δύσκολο να σταματήσει από τις περισσότερες άμυνες της EuroLeague, όμως η Αρμάνι έπαιξε πολύ καλή άμυνα με το επιμέρους 16-22 της τρίτης περιόδου, έφτασε το σκορ στο 72-71 στην έναρξη του τελευταίου δεκαλέπτου.

Ήταν η ώρα του Μακίνλεϊ Ράιτ, ο οποίος με 5 γρήγορους πόντους βοήθησε την ομάδα του να πάρει απόσταση 6 πόντων, την οποία διατήρησε μέχρι τα μισά της περιόδου (84-78). Με εύστοχες βολές του Νίμπο οι φιλοξενούμενοι μείωσαν στους τέσσερις. Ο Ράιτ βρήκε ένα τεράστιο γκολ φάουλ, με τον Μπρουκς να απαντάει για τρεις (87-83).

Οι δύο ομάδες αντάλλασσαν εύστοχες επιθέσεις, με τους γηπεδούχους να εκμεταλλεύονται μία άμυνα και ένα επιθετικό ριμπάουντ του Πετρούσεβ για να φτάσουν στο +9 (94-85).

Από εκεί και μετά με λιγότερο από δύο λεπτά να απομένουν, ήταν πολύ δύσκολο να αλλάξει κάτι και το ζητούμενο ήταν μόνο η διαφορά.
