The Thessaloniki team had control for most of the match, but Vasilis Xanthopoulos' players showed themselves to be quite competitive in the last quarter, with Nichols scoring a three-pointer and sending the match to overtime.

Peristeri Betsson started dynamically in the extra five minutes, but the hosts, with a decisive Noa, managed to seal the victory and continue their winning streak in the Greek championship.

Noa was impressive for the Thessaloniki team, finishing the match with 27 points, three rebounds and two assists, with Jones and Mitrou-Long following him, scoring 14 and 13 points, respectively.

On the losing side, Harris was the top scorer with 13 points, while Nichols also stood out, sending the match into overtime, scoring 11 points.

Thus, Aris Betsson rose to 5-5, while Peristeri Betsson fell to 5-5.

The match

Aris Betsson started the match with a 5-0 lead, with Tubergen stopping the home team's run, scoring for 5-2. The two teams were close to the score for a few minutes, but Peristeri Betsson managed to escape with seven points, after baskets by Cardenas and Kaklamanakis (12-18). Poulianitis reduced the score to four for the Thessaloniki team, while Harris and Mitrou-Long exchanged baskets for the final score of the quarter (16-20), with the visitors remaining ahead.

The two teams were unsuccessful in the first attacks of the second quarter, remaining at 23-26 for a long time. However, Aris Betsson found solutions on the offensive, with Mitrou-Long and Harel giving a small three-point lead (31-28). The Peristeri managed to get close to two, after a three-pointer by Cardenas (37-35), but the hosts, with personal actions by Anjusic, managed to keep the lead until the end of the half (39-35). Vasilis Xanthopoulos' players brought the match to the start of the second half, with Jankovic scoring two shots for 39-39. However, Aris Betsson responded with a 5-0 run, with Harel and Anjusic making it 44-39. In the middle of the period, Peristeri missed several attacks, with the Thessaloniki team taking advantage of it and making the difference double digits (50-40). The guests recorded a 6-0 run, managing to reduce it to four, with Cardenas scoring for 50-46. However, Aris Betsson responded to every solution of Peristeri Betsson, with the third quarter ending with 58-50.

Peristeri reacted, managing to bring the match to a draw, 60-60, five minutes before the end of the match. Neither team could escape the score, with Nichols hitting a three-pointer for 71-71, with Jones missing Aris Betsson's last attack and the match going into overtime.

At the start of overtime, the two teams were going point for point. However, Xanthopoulos' team missed crucial attacks, with Aris Betsson stepping up the pace of the attack and taking the victory with a goal from Noah (81-76).

Οι Θεσσαλονικείς είχαν τον έλεγχο στη μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια του αγώνα, όμως οι παίκτες του Βασίλη Ξανθόπουλου παρουσιάστηκαν αρκετά ανταγωνιστικοί στο τελευταίο δεκάλεπτο, με τον Νίκολς να πετυχαίνει τρίποντο και να στέλνει το ματς στην παράταση.

Το Περιστέρι Betsson ξεκίνησε δυναμικά στο έξτρα πεντάλεπτο, όμως οι γηπεδούχοι με καθοριστικό Νουά κατάφεραν να σφραγίσουν τη νίκη και να συνεχίσουν το νικηφόρο σερί τους στο ελληνικό πρωτάθλημα.

Ο Νουά ήταν εντυπωσιακός από τους Θεσσαλονικείς, ολοκληρώνοντας το ματς μς 27 πόντους, τρία ριμπάουντ και δύο ασίστ, με τους Τζόουνς και Μήτρου-Λονγκ να τον ακολουθούν, πετυχαίνοντας 14 και 13 πόντους, αντίστοιχα.

Από την πλευρά των ηττημένων, ο Χάρις ήταν ο πρώτος σκόρερ με 13 πόντους, ενώ και ο Νίκολς ξεχώρισε, ο οποίος έστειλε το ματς στην παράταση, σκοράροντας 11 πόντους.

Έτσι, ο Άρης Betsson ανέβηκε στο 5-5, ενώ το Περιστέρι Betsson έπεσε στο 5-5. 

Ο αγώνας

Με 5-0 άρχισε το ματς ο Άρης Betsson, με τον Τούμπεργκεν να σταματάει το σερί των γηπεδούχων, σκοράροντας για το 5-2. Οι δύο ομάδες βρίσκονταν κοντά στο σκορ, για ορισμένα λεπτά, όμως το Περιστέρι Betsson κατάφερε να ξεφύγει με επτά πόντους, μετά από καλάθια των Καρντένας και Κακλαμανάκη (12-18). Ο Πουλιανίτης μείωσε στους τέσσερις για τους Θεσσαλονικείς, ενώ οι Χάρις και Μήτρου-Λονγκ αντάλλαξαν καλάθια για το τελικό σκορ του δεκαλέπτου (16-20), με τους φιλοξενούμενους να μένουν μπροστά.

Οι δύο ομάδες ήταν άστοχες στις πρώτες επιθέσεις του δεύτερου δεκαλέπτου, μένοντας για αρκετή ώρα στο 23-26 . Ωστόσο, ο Άρης Betsson βρήκε λύσεις στην επιθέση, με τους Μήτρου-Λονγκ και Χαρέλ να δίνουν ένα μικρό προβάδισμα τριών πόντων (31-28). Οι Περιστεριώτες κατάφεραν να πλησιάσουν στους δύο, μετά από τρίποντο του Καρντένας (37-35), όμως οι γηπεδούχοι με προσωπικές ενέργειες του Άντζουσιτς κατάφεραν να κρατήσουν το προβάδισμα, μέχρι το τέλος του ημιχρόνου (39-35).

Οι παίκτες του Βασίλη Ξανθόπουλου έφεραν το ματς, στο ξεκίνημα του δεύτερου ημιχρόνου, με τον Γιάνκοβιτς να σκοράρει δύο βολές για το 39-39. Ωστόσο, ο Άρης Betsson απάντησε με ένα 5-0 σερί, με τους Χαρέλ και Άντζουσιτς να διαμορφώνουν το 44-39. Στα μέσα της περιόδου, οι Περιστεριώτες αστόχησαν σε αρκετές επιθέσεις, με τους Θεσσαλονικείς να το εκμεταλλεύονται και να κάνουν τη διαφορά διψήφια (50-40). Οι φιλοξενούμενοι κατέγραψαν ένα 6-0 σερί, καταφέρνοντας να μειώσουν στους τέσσερις, με τον Καρντένας να σκοράρει για το 50-46. Ωστόσο, ο Άρης Betsson έδινε απάντηση σε κάθε λύση του Περιστερίου Betsson, με το τρίτο δεκάλεπτο να ολοκληρώνεται με 58-50.

Το Περιστέρι έβγαλε αντίδραση, καταφέρνοντας να φέρει το ματς στα ίσα, 60-60, πέντε λεπτά πριν τη λήξη της αναμέτρησης. Καμία ομάδα δεν μπορούσε να ξεφύγει στο σκορ, με τον Νίκολς να ευστοχεί σε τρίποντο για το 71-71, με τον Τζόουνς να αστοχεί στην τελευταία επίθεση του Άρη Betsson και το ματς να πηγαίνει σε παράταση.

Στο ξεκίνημα της παράτασης οι δύο ομάδες πήγαιναν πόντο-πόντο. Ωστόσο, η ομάδα του Ξανθόπουλου αστόχησε σε κρίσιμες επιθέσεις, με τον Άρη Betsson να ανεβάζει ρυθμούς στην επίθεση και να παίρνει τη νίκη με υπογραφή του Νουά (81-76).
