Στο 4-2 έκλεισε την α’ φάση η Ρίτας, η οποία είχε ούτως ή άλλως κλειδώσει την πρώτη θέση του ομίλου. Χωρίς άγχος, οι Λιθουανοί ήταν υπερηχητικοί στο ξεκίνημα, όμως από ένα σημείο κι έπειτα δεν μπορούσαν να ματσάρουν το πείσμα και την ενέργεια των γηπεδούχων που είχαν ανάγκη το αποτέλεσμα.

Ο Ίγκνας Σαρτούνας (24 πόντοι σε 30 λεπτά) κι ο Αρτούρας Γκουντάιτις (17 πόντοι, 15 ριμπάουντ, 3 ασίστ σε 23:30) ήταν μόνοι εναντίον όλων, οι δύο που ξεχώρισαν από την ομάδα του Βίλνιους.
