In a very satisfying game, the two teams were going hand in hand until halftime. The home team, mainly due to the very good first half of Petrusev, Bacon and Kondic, was leading the match, but the Itoudis players were constantly coming back.

That was until the third quarter, when the home team's solutions dried up and Micic, with 8 personal points, signaled the attack, so that the match's top scorer, Elijah Bryant, could take over.

The American was sensational. He scored 25 points (4/6 two-pointers, 3/5 three-pointers, 8/10 shots), while also having 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 8 won fouls and 36 points in the evaluation system.

A terrible night for Dwayne Bacon as well, who stopped at 36 points (10/19 two-pointers, 1/7 three-pointers, 13/14 shots), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 9 won fouls and 34 points in the evaluation system.

The match

The home team typically started the game very strongly with Petrushev and Bacon in excellent condition. Both scored 11 points in the first quarter and seemed to have no opponent. However, as soon as they sat on the bench, Hapoel, with several protagonists and team actions, easily closed the gap.

The second period could be described as a copy of the first. With Bacon and Kondic as the main players, Dubai BC opened up a 7-point gap again (40-33), but towards the end Hapoel, mainly with Blakeney, closed the gap again.

However, in the second half, the picture was different. On the one hand, the home team saw their offensive solutions not working as they had earlier as Itoudis' team stepped up its defense. Dan Oturu covered the baskets on one side and on the other Micic and Bryant worked wonders. The two of them scored 4 three-pointers in a very short period of time and Hapoel found themselves leading by double digits in a short period of time.

In the fourth quarter, the Golemacs players also made their own counterattack. They ran an 11-0 run and reduced the lead from 89-72 to 89-83 with 5 minutes left in the match. Then the Itudis players woke up and despite Bacon's efforts to turn the game around on his own, the visitors took the victory.

Η Χάποελ Τελ Αβίβ έφυγε με τη νίκη από το Σαράγεβο, αφού επικράτησε της Dubai BC με 109-97 για την 9η αγωνιστική της Euroleague. Συγκλονιστική εμφάνιση από τον Ελάιτζα Μπράιαντ, αφού ο Μίτσιτς σάλπισε το σύνθημα της επίθεσης στην τρίτη περίοδο.

Σε ένα πολύ χορταστικό παιχνίδι οι δύο ομάδες προχωρούσαν χέρι-χέρι μέχρι και το ημίχρονο. Οι γηπεδούχοι κυρίως λόγω του πολύ καλού πρώτου μέρους των Πετρούσεβ, Μπέικον και Κόντιτς οδηγούσαν το ματς όμως οι παίκτες του Ιτούδη επέστρεφαν συνεχώς.

Αυτά μέχρι το τρίτο δεκάλεπτο, όπου οι λύσεις των γηπεδούχων στέρεψαν και ο Μίτσιτς με 8 προσωπικούς πόντους σήμανε το σύνθημα της επίθεσης, για να αναλάβει ο κορυφαίος της αναμέτρησης, Ελάιτζα Μπράιαντ.

Ο Αμερικάνος ήταν συγκλονιστικός. Πέτυχε 25 πόντους (4/6 δίποντα, 3/5 τρίποντα, 8/10 βολές), ενώ είχε και 7 ριμπάουντ, 3 ασίστ, 8 κερδισμένα φάουλ και 36 πόντους στο σύστημα αξιολόγησης.

Τρομερό βράδυ και για τον Ντουέιν Μπέικον που σταμάτησε στους 36 πόντους (10/19 δίποντα, 1/7 τρίποντα, 13/14 βολές), 5 ριμπάουντ, 1 ασίστ, 9 κερδισμένα φάουλ και 34 πόντους στην αξιολόγηση.

Ο αγώνας

Οι τυπικά γηπεδούχοι ξεκίνησαν πολύ δυνατά το παιχνίδι με τους Πετρούσεβ και Μπέικον σε εξαιρετικοί κατάσταση. Αμφότεροι πέτυχαν 11 πόντους στο πρώτο δεκάλεπτο και φαινόταν να μην έχουν αντίπαλο. Μόλις όμως κάθισαν στον πάγκο, η Χάποελ, με αρκετούς πρωταγωνιστές και ομαδικές ενέργειες, μάζεψε πολύ εύκολα τη διαφορά.

Η δεύτερη περίοδος θα μπορούσε να χαρακτηριστεί ως αντίγραφο της πρώτης. Με κύριο εκφραστή τον Μπέικον και τον Κόντιτς η Dubai BC άνοιξε ξανά μία διαφορά 7 πόντων (40-33), όμως προς το τέλος η Χάποελ, κυρίως με τον Μπλέικνι, μάζεψε και πάλι τη διαφορά.

Στο δεύτερο μέρος όμως η εικόνα ήταν διαφορετική. Αφενός οι γηπεδούχοι είδαν τις επιθετικές τους λύσεις να μη λειτουργούν όπως νωρίτερα καθώς η ομάδα του Ιτούδη ανέβηκε επίπεδο στην άμυνα. Ο Νταν Οτούρου σκέπασε τα καλάθια στη μία πλευρά και στην άλλη Μίτσιτς και Μπράιαντ έκαναν θαύματα. Οι δυο τους πέτυχαν 4 τρίποντα σε πολύ μικρό διάστημα και η Χάποελ βρέθηκε να προηγείται με διψήφια διαφορά με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες.

Στο τέταρτο δεκάλεπτο οι παίκτες του Γκόλεματς έκαναν και εκείνοι τη δική τους αντεπίθεση. Έτρεξαν ένα σερί 11-0 και μείωσαν από το 89-72 σε 89-83 με 5 λεπτά να απομένουν στην αναμέτρηση. Τότε ξύπνησαν οι παίκτες του Ιτούδη και παρά τις προσπάθειες του Μπέικον, να γυρίσει μόνος του το παιχνίδι, οι φιλοξενούμενοι πήραν τη νίκη.
