Panionios was competitive in Germany, but was defeated by Ulm (103-96) in a match for the second round of the EuroCup.

The blue-reds were defeated on Tuesday night (7/10) by Ulm (103-96) for the second round of the EuroCup, with Luka Pavicevic going to a rotation of eight players and understanding again that perhaps this number is not enough to get through the season of the two championships.

Jalen Hunts and Matt Lewis were the leaders of Historikos, Tsalbouris and Wall did a good job mainly in the first half, with Panionios having 24 assists for 14 errors and shooting with a good percentage from the three-point range.

However, Ulm was better, making 16/28 three-pointers (57.1%), with Ledlum and Sengfelder each having 20 points and Weidemann following with 16.

11-4 points from the opponent's errors, 31-45 points from the substitutes of the two teams, with Panionios never taking the lead, seeing Lewis miss from mid-range with the score at 99-95 and Starks finding iron in a three-pointer in the next phase.

The blue-reds had other opportunities, Starks missed a three-pointer with the score at 99-96, Lundzis had new possession, but made a wrong pass to the racket and Ulm took the victory as Mark Smith made the basket for 101-96.

Ανταγωνιστικός στη Γερμανία ο Πανιώνιος, ηττήθηκε όμως από την Ουλμ (103-96) σε ματς για τη δεύτερη αγωνιστική του EuroCup.

Το πάλεψε, το πίστεψε, στο τέλος όμως ο Πανιώνιος έφυγε ηττημένος από τη Γερμανία.

Οι κυανέρυθροι ηττήθηκαν το βράδυ της Τρίτης (7/10) από την Ουλμ (103-96) για τη δεύτερη αγωνιστική του EuroCup, με τον Λούκα Παβίτσεβιτς να πηγαίνει σε ροτέισον οκτώ παικτών και να καταλαβαίνει και πάλι ότι ίσως αυτός ο αριθμός να μην είναι αρκετός για να βγάλει τη σεζόν των δύο πρωταθλημάτων.

Τζέιλεν Χαντς και Ματ Λούις ήταν οι κορυφαίοι του Ιστορικού, Τσαλμπούρης και Γουόλ έκαναν καλή δουλειά κυρίως στο πρώτο μέρος, με τον Πανιώνιο να έχει 24 ασίστ για 14 λάθη και να σουτάρει με καλό ποσοστό από το τρίποντο.

Καλύτερο ήταν, όμως, αυτό της Ουλμ που έβαλε 16/28 τρίποντα (57.1%), με τους Λέντλουμ – Σενγκφέλντερ να έχουν από 20 πόντους και τον Βάιντεμαν να ακολουθεί με 16.

Οι κυανέρυθροι είχαν κι άλλες ευκαιρίες, ο Σταρκς αστόχησε σε τρίποντο με το σκορ στο 99-96, ο Λούντζης είχε νέα κατοχή, έκανε όμως λάθος πάσα προς τη ρακέτα και η Ουλμ πήρε την νίκη καθώς ο Μαρκ Σμιθ έβαλε το καλάθι για το 101-96.
