Maroussi: Briggs returns and closes the roster
Maroussi completed its roster with the acquisition of old acquaintance Justin Briggs.
Justin Briggs was selected to complete and close the Maroussi roster. The 28-year-old center (2.08m) had competed in the last part of last season with the team from the northern suburbs.

The American center, competed last year in our team, in the last phase of the season, contributing greatly to achieving the goal of staying. Thus, he was selected again, to strengthen the tall line. In the 9 games (4 regular season, 5 playouts) he played for Amaroussi, he averaged 7.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks.
BIO
We remind you that Briggs was born in Okinawa, Japan on September 19, 1997. He graduated in 2020 from California State University Chico. In his senior year, he was included in the All-CCAA best five. In January 2021, he began his professional career with the Kapfenberg Bulls of Austria, where he also played in the 2021-22 season. In the 2023-24 season, he signed with the Turkish MKE Ankaragucu (average 12.1 points, 7.4 rebounds). In January 2024, he moved to Hapoel Afula (average 10.1 points, 7.1 rebounds) of Israel. This season, he began in the Lithuanian Lietkabelis Panevezys with whom he played for 5 games in the Eurocup with an average of 5.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1 block in 14.2? and continued in the French Cholet with whom he played 5 games in the Fiba Europe Cup with an average of 5.5 points, 4 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 14.8.

Θυμίζουμε ότι ο Briggs γεννήθηκε στην Οκινάουα της Ιαπωνίας στις 19 Σεπτεμβρίου του 1997. Αποφοίτησε το 2020 από το California State University Chico.Την τελευταία του χρονιά συμπεριλήφθηκε στην καλύτερη πεντάδα της All-CCAA. Τον Ιανουάριο του 2021 ξεκίνησε την επαγγελματική του καριέρα από τους Kapfenberg Bulls της Αυστρίας στους οποίους αγωνίστηκε και τη σεζόν 2021-22.Την σεζόν 2023-24 υπέγραψε στην τουρκική MKE Ankaragucu (μ. ο 12,1 πόντους, 7.4 ριμπάουντ) .
