Bodiroga: “That’s why we chose Athens”

What EuroLeague President Dejan Bodiroga said about hosting the 2026 Final Four in Athens.

Athens will host the EuroLeague Final Four in 2026 and the organization’s President Dejan Bodiroga made the announcement in the context of the Final Four being hosted by Athens and the Telekom Center Athens.

In his message, Bodiroga highlighted the reasons why the EuroLeague chose Athens:

“Athens is a city with a deep basketball heritage and one of the most passionate venues in Europe. We are excited to return to Athens in 2026, a city that has hosted some of the most memorable moments in EuroLeague history.

Greece remains a strategic market for the EuroLeague, with two top teams competing every year, an extremely dedicated fan community and a strong appeal as a global tourist destination. The return of the Final Four to Athens is a natural choice, which we are confident will deliver another spectacular event.”

Όσα ανέφερε ο Πρόεδρος της EuroLeague, Ντέγιαν Μποντιρόγκα για τη διεξαγωγή του Final Four του 2026 στην Αθήνα.

Η Αθήνα θα διοργανώσει το Final Four της EuroLeague το 2026 και ο Πρόεδρος της διοργάνωσης, Ντέγιαν Μποντιρόγκα στο πλαίσιο της ανακοίνωσης της ανάληψης του Final Four από την Αθήνα και το Telekom Center Athens.

Ο Μποντιρόγκα στο μήνυμά του ανέδειξε τους λόγους για τους οποίους η EuroLeague επέλεξε την Αθήνα:
