A detailed schedule of the matches of the 1st matchday in the League Phase of the Betsson Greek Cup. These are the days and times of the games.

On Tuesday (16/9) the League Phase of the Betsson Greek Cup takes center stage, with the Hellenic Football Federation announcing on Thursday (11/9) the detailed schedule of the 1st matchday.

It is recalled that due to European obligations, the Olympiacos match will not be held on the first matchday, while for the same reason the Panathinaikos and PAOK matches will not be held on the second matchday.

These three games are the only ones that will take place on the 5th and final matchday of the League Phase.

* The matches Panitolikos – Aris, Egaleo – AEK, Panathinaikos – Athens Kallithea and Levadiakos – PAOK will be televised by Cosmote TV.

The innovations of this year's competition

On Wednesday (3/9) the electronic draw was completed, without the traditional bowls with the balls, where the 20 participating teams learned their opponents, as well as their exact schedule.

It is noted that for the sake of the draw, 5 groups of four teams were created. Each team was drawn to compete with one team from each group, except for its own, and will therefore play a total of 4 matches, of which 2 are home and 2 are away. The home team of each pair was again determined through the electronic draw process.

Thus, we end up with a single ranking table of 20 teams, which will play four games each.

The top 4 teams will qualify directly for the quarter-final phase, while the teams that finish from 5th to 12th place will play single play-off matches among themselves, with the 4 winners following the teams in the four groups in the quarter-finals.

The play-offs will be as follows:

The 5th will face the 12th at home

The 6th will face the 11th at home

The 7th will face the 10th at home

The 8th will face the 9th at home

From the above, two positions of particular importance emerge. These are, on the one hand, the fourth place, which guarantees the participation of the teams in the quarter-finals, and on the other hand, the 12th place, which guarantees the continuation of the competition.

This is the first time that the Betsson Greek Cup has been held in this way and at the same time, no similar competition is held under exactly the same conditions that we find in our own cup (ed. i.e. League Phase of 20 teams, in 5 groups of capacity, with 4 match days). Therefore, how many points will be needed to find a team in the 4th or 12th group is not yet known.

The quarterfinals, the semifinals and the final

The quarterfinals involve 8 teams: the winners of the playoff pairs and the teams that took places from 1 to 4 in the League Phase standings.

The four pairs of quarterfinals that will result are as follows:

1st quarterfinal: the 1st in the League Phase standings with the winner of the 4th pair (8th to 9th).

2nd quarterfinal: The 2nd in the League Phase standings with the winner of the 3rd pair (7th to 10th).

3rd quarter-final: The 3rd in the League Phase standings with the winner of the 2nd pair (6th to 11th).

4th quarter-final match: The 4th in the League Phase standings with the winner of the 1st pair (5th to 12th).

The matches will be singles and the home team will be the team that is higher in the League Phase standings, in this case the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

The winners of the quarter-final pairs participate in the semi-finals.

The pairs that will emerge from the two semi-finals are as follows:

1st semi-final: the winner of the 1st quarter-final with the winner of the 4th quarter-final.

2nd semi-final: the winner of the 2nd quarter-final against the winner of the 3rd quarter-final.

The matches will be double and the second matches will be played at the stadiums of the teams that qualified from the 1st and 2nd quarter-final matches, in which the 1st and 2nd teams of the League Phase ranking table participated. Away goals do not (over)apply.

The final will be played between the winners of the 1st and 2nd semi-finals. The team that will emerge from the 1st semi-final will be the home team.

The match will be played at OAKA on April 25.

Αναλυτικά το πρόγραμμα των αγώνων της 1ης αγωνιστικής στη League Phase του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδας Betsson. Αυτές είναι οι ημέρες και οι ώρες των παιχνιδιών.

Την Τρίτη (16/9) κάνει σέντρα η League Phase του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδας Betsson, με την ΕΠΟ να γνωστοποιεί την Πέμπτη (11/9) το αναλυτικό πρόγραμμα της 1ης αγωνιστικής.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι λόγω ευρωπαϊκών υποχρεώσεων, ο αγώνας του Ολυμπιακού δεν θα διεξαχθεί την πρώτη αγωνιστική, ενώ για τον ίδιο λόγο δεν θα διεξαχθούν την δεύτερη αγωνιστική οι αγώνες του Παναθηναϊκού και του ΠΑΟΚ.

Τα τρία αυτά παιχνίδια είναι τα μοναδικά που θα πραγματοποιηθούν την 5η και τελευταία αγωνιστική της League Phase.

* Οι αγώνες Παναιτωλικός – Άρης, Αιγάλεω – ΑΕΚ, Παναθηναϊκός – Athens Kallithea και Λεβαδειακός – ΠΑΟΚ θα καλυφθούν τηλεοπτικά από την Cosmote TV.

Οι καινοτομίες της φετινής διοργάνωσης

Την Τετάρτη (3/9) ολοκληρώθηκε η ηλεκτρονική κλήρωση, χωρίς τα παραδοσιακά μπολ με τα μπαλάκια, όπου οι 20 ομάδες που συμμετέχουν έμαθαν τους αντιπάλους τους, αλλά και το ακριβές πρόγραμμά τους.

Σημειώνεται πως για χάρη της κλήρωσης δημιουργήθηκαν 5 γκρουπ δυναμικότητας, των τεσσάρων ομάδων. Κάθε ομάδα κληρώθηκε να αγωνιστεί με μία ομάδα από κάθε γκρουπ, εκτός από το δικό της και επομένως θα δώσει συνολικά 4 αναμετρήσεις, εκ των οποίων οι 2 εντός έδρας και οι 2 εκτός έδρας. Ο γηπεδούχος κάθε ζευγαριού προέκυψε πάλι μέσω της ηλεκτρονικής διαδικασίας της κλήρωσης.

Έτσι καταλήγουμε σε ένα ενιαίο βαθμολογικό πίνακα 20 ομάδων, οι οποίες θα δώσουν από τέσσερα παιχνίδια.

Οι 4 πρώτες ομάδες θα προκριθούν απευθείας στην προημιτελική φάση, ενώ οι ομάδες που θα τερματήσουν από τη θέση 5 ως τη θέση 12, θα παίξουν μεταξύ τους μονούς αγώνες μπαράζ, με τους 4 νικητές να ακολουθούν τις ομάδες της τετράδας στα προημιτελικά.

Οι διασταυρώσεις στη φάση μπαράζ θα γίνουν ως εξής:

Ο 5ος θα αντιμετωπίσει εντός έδρας τον 12ο

Ο 6ος θα αντιμετωπίσει εντός έδρας τον 11ο

Ο 7ος θα αντιμετωπίσει εντός έδρας τον 10ο

Ο 8ος θα αντιμετωπίσει εντός έδρας τον 9ο

Από τα παραπάνω προκύπτουν δύο θέσεις με ιδιαίτερη σημασία. Αυτές είναι, αφενός η τέταρτη θέση, που εγγυάται τη συμμετοχή των ομάδων στα προημιτελικά και αφετέρου η 12η θέση, που εγγυάται τη συνέχεια στη διοργάνωση.

Αυτή είναι η πρώτη φορά που διεξάγεται με αυτόν τον τρόπο το Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Betsson και παράλληλα καμία παρόμοια διοργάνωση δεν διεξάγεται με ακριβώς τις ίδιες συνθήκες που συναντάμε στο δικό μας κύπελλο (σ.σ. δηλαδή League Phase των 20 ομάδων, σε 5 γκρουπ δυναμικότητας, με 4 αγωνιστικές). Επομένως, το πόσοι βαθμοί θα χρειαστούν για να βρεθεί μία ομάδα στην 4άδα, ή στη 12άδα δεν είναι ακόμα γνωστό.

Οι προημιτελικοί, οι ημιτελικοί κι ο τελικός

Στους προημιτελικούς συμμετέχουν 8 ομάδες: οι νικητές των ζευγαριών της φάσης των playoffs και οι ομάδες που κατέλαβαν τις θέσεις από 1 έως 4 της βαθμολογικής κατάταξης στη League Phase.

Τα τέσσερα ζευγάρια των προημιτελικών που θα προκύψουν, είναι τα ακόλουθα:

1ος προημιτελικός: ο 1ος της βαθμολογικής κατάταξης της League Phase με τον νικητή του 4ου ζευγαριού (8ος με 9ο).

2ος προημιτελικός: Ο 2ος της βαθμολογικής κατάταξης στη League Phase με τον νικητή του 3ου ζευγαριού (7ος με 10ο).

3ος προημιτελικός: Ο 3ος της βαθμολογικής κατάταξης στη League Phase με τον νικητή του 2ου ζευγαριού (6ος με 11ο).

4ος προημιτελικός αγώνας: Ο 4ος της βαθμολογικής κατάταξης στη League Phase με τον νικητή του 1ου ζευγαριού (5ος με 12ο).

Οι αγώνες θα είναι μονοί και γηπεδούχος θα είναι η ομάδα που βρίσκεται πιο ψηλά στη βαθμολογική κατάταξη της League Phase, εν προκειμένω ο 1ος, ο 2ος, ο 3ος και ο 4ος.

Στους ημιτελικούς συμμετέχουν οι νικητές των ζευγαριών των προημιτελικών.

Τα ζευγάρια που θα προκύψουν στους δύο ημιτελικούς είναι τα ακόλουθα:

1ος ημιτελικός: ο νικητής του 1ου προημιτελικού με τον νικητή του 4ου προημιτελικού.

2ος ημιτελικός: ο νικητής του 2ου προημιτελικού με τον νικητή του 3ου προημιτελικού.

Οι αγώνες θα είναι διπλοί και οι δεύτεροι αγώνες θα διεξαχθούν στις έδρες των ομάδων που προκρίθηκαν από τον 1ο και 2ο προημιτελικό αγώνα, στον οποίον συμμετείχαν η 1η και η 2η ομάδα του πίνακα κατάταξης της League Phase. Δεν (υπερ)ισχύει το εκτός έδρας γκολ.

Ο τελικός θα διεξαχθεί μεταξύ των νικητών του 1ου και του 2ου ημιτελικού. Τυπικά γηπεδούχος θα είναι η ομάδα που θα προκύψει από τον 1ο ημιτελικό.

Ο αγώνας θα διεξαχθεί στο ΟΑΚΑ στις 25 Απριλίου.
