PAOK again scoreless, despite putting Maccabi under pressure, lost the last few goals in the end with Chalov, Kamara and started with a lopsided start in the Europa League (0-0).

That something... That something extra, the one that could make the difference, to squeeze Maccabi who came to Toumba with a threatening attitude, to redeem them in the final, where they lost the... last few goals! That something that is missing! Premiere for the League Phase of the Europa League and a match at a high tempo, with both teams showing their teeth with the... good evening. PAOK with Tyson and the Israelis with their first scorer, Dor Peretz.

Just in the 4th minute of the match, Mispati "read" the situation correctly and came out of his goal, perceiving the ball towards Tyson. The Brazilian took the header and then curled into an empty net, with Kamara making a saving save. Immediate response from the guests, with Perez missing from a good position, after Davida's well-taken free kick.

It was the introduction to the first half, in a full 45 minutes with phases on both sides but many mistakes on the part of the Double Header. PAOK and Maccabi were looking for the steal that would give them an advantage or a move on the opponent's back, looking for surprise. The phase was typical for the Thessaloniki team, with Kenny stealing the ball high, with Ozdoev turning it excellently to the far post and Tyson finishing with a powerful shot with one hand, which went out.

However, the Israeli champions knew how to keep the Thessaloniki team alert, testing Pavlenka's reflexes twice. In the 18th minute with Yehekzel's shot and three minutes later with the huge opportunity that Peretz missed, finding the Czech keeper facing him. On the counterattack, the Israeli came out to face-to-face, but Pavlenka stopped him impressively!

The damage for the black and whites was avoided later, specifically in the 35th minute, when Maccabi pulled off an incredible move with three balls that... immobilized the black and whites. Revivo came out behind the PAOK defense and received Shlomo's deep ball, giving Perez a ready goal who scored in front of an empty net for 0-1, but the goal was canceled after a VAR check as offside.

It was possibly the point that "woke up" PAOK, entering more... boldly into Maccabi's area, moving vertically and intensifying its pressure until the half-time break. The 0-0 between the two teams ended with a terrible slalom by Konstantelia, whose shot was blocked with difficulty by the Israeli goalkeeper!

Maccabi moved in a different pattern in the second half, giving space to PAOK who... camped on the edge of the Israeli area, but without result. It was clear that the Israelis wanted to "play" with time, adapting their tactics to the opponent's moments of surprise, realizing the weaknesses in the defensive transition. However, they were counting without Pavlenka...

The man who has kept PAOK, since the beginning of the season, standing in Europe, made sure to put another... brake. The ball was laid in front of Andrante, after a counterattack, but the Czech stopped him from contact (65'). Razvan Lucescu "freshened" the team in midfield, initially bringing on Despodov and Kamara (66') instead of Tyson and Ozdoev, while six minutes later he withdrew Yakoumakis, betting on Chalov...

Touches... of renewal also from Zarko Lazetic, who saw luck close the match for him in the 70th minute, in an unlikely moment as you can see below. Kenjiora headed back, Kamara caught up with Mispati but Sissoko cleared it on the line, with the ball hitting the post!

Maccabi had an answer in the good moments, recording their own with Davida who converged and shot, with the ball going past the post. The epilogue of the match, however, clearly had the signature of PAOK who did everything they could but the nightmare in front of the goal, held him back!

In a parallel turn by Andrija, Chalov and Despodov were... half a step behind. They were there, they made a move, it was enough for one to simply put his foot down, but they didn't have time... A few minutes before the end of the 90th minute, Ivanushek, who came in to give... breathing space to Konstandelia, "served" to Chalov but the Russian scored on Mispati!

In the phases with... no misses, Kamara also entered in the dying moments of the match, when he found himself one-on-one with the Maccabi goalkeeper after a terrible pass from Ivanusec, but Bispati shouted "present", keeping PAOK at zero! All at zero in Toumba, premiere with the... left for the Thessaloniki team who have "thrown" in the... trash since last Saturday incredible opportunities!

Ξανά άσφαιρος ο ΠΑΟΚ, παρότι πίεσε ασφυκτικά τη Μακάμπι, έχασε τα άχαστα στο τέλος με Τσάλοβ, Καμαρά και ξεκίνησε με στραβοπάτημα στο Europa League (0-0).

Αυτό το κάτι... Το κάτι παραπάνω, αυτό που θα μπορούσε να κάνει τη διαφορά, να στριμώξει τη Μακάμπι που ήρθε με απειλητικές διαθέσεις στην Τούμπα, να τον λυτρώσει στο φινάλε, εκεί που έχασε τα... άχαστα! Αυτό το κάτι που αγνοείται! Πρεμιέρα για τη League Phase του Europa League και ένα ματς σε υψηλό τέμπο, με τις δύο ομάδες να δείχνουν δόντια με το... καλησπέρα. Ο ΠΑΟΚ με τον Τάισον και οι Ισραηλινοί με τον πρώτο τους σκόρερ, Ντορ Πέρετζ.

Μόλις στο 4ο λεπτό της αναμέτρησης, ο Μισπάτι «διάβασε» σωστά τη φάση και βγήκε από την εστία του, αντιλαμβανόμενος τη μπαλιά προς τον Τάισον. Ο Βραζιλιάνος πήρε την κεφαλιά και στη συνέχεια πλάσαρε σε κενή εστία, με τον Καμαρά να διώχνει σωτήρια. Άμεση απάντηση από τους φιλοξενούμενους, με τον Πέρετζ να αστοχεί από καλή θέση, μετά το καλοχτυπημένο φάουλ του Ντάβιντα. 

Ήταν η εισαγωγή στο α' ημίχρονο, σε ένα γεμάτο 45λεπτο με εκατέρωθεν φάσεις αλλά και πολλά λάθη από πλευράς Δικεφάλου. ΠΑΟΚ και Μακάμπι έψαχναν το κλέψιμο που θα τους έδινε υπεραριθμία ή κίνηση στην πλάτη του αντιπάλου, ψάχνοντας τον αιφνιδιασμό. Χαρακτηριστική η φάση για τους Θεσσαλονικείς με το κλέψιμο της μπάλας από τον Κένι ψηλά, με τον Οζντόεφ να τη γυρνάει εξαιρετικά στο δεύτερο δοκάρι και τον Τάισον να ολοκληρώνει με ένα δυνατό σουτ με τη μία, που πέρασε άουτ. 

Οι πρωταθλητές του Ισραήλ όμως ήξεραν πως να κρατούν σε εγρήγορση τους Θεσσαλονικείς, δοκιμάζοντας δις τα αντανακλαστικά του Παβλένκα. Στο 18' με το σουτ του Γιεχεκζέλ και τρία λεπτά αργότερα με την τεράστια ευκαιρία που έχασε ο Πέρετζ, βρίσκοντας απέναντί του τον Τσέχο κίπερ. Από κόντρα, ο Ισραηλινός βγήκε τετ-α-τετ, αλλά ο Πάβλενκα τον σταμάτησε εντυπωσιακά!

Η ζημιά για τους ασπρόμαυρους αποφεύχθηκε αργότερα και συγκεκριμένα στο 35΄, όταν η Μακάμπι έβγαλε απίθανη φάση με τρεις μπαλιές που... ακινητοποίησαν τους ασπρόμαυρους. Ο Ρεβίβο βγήκε στην πλάτη της άμυνας του ΠΑΟΚ και υποδέχθηκε την βαθιά μπαλιά του Σλόμο, δίνοντας έτοιμο γκολ στον Πέρετζ ο οποίος σκόραρε προ κενής εστίας για το 0-1, αλλά το γκολ ακυρώθηκε μετά από έλεγχο του VAR ως οφσάιντ.

Ενδεχομένως ήταν και το σημείο που «αφύπνισε» τον ΠΑΟΚ, μπαίνοντας πιο... μπουκαδόρικα στην περιοχή της Μακάμπι, κινούμενος κάθετα και εντείνοντας την πίεσή του μέχρι την ανάπαυλα του ημιχρόνου. Το 0-0 των δύο ομάδων έκλεισε με το τρομερό σλάλομ του Κωνσταντέλια, το σουτ του οποίου μπλόκαρε με δυσκολία ο κίπερ των Ισραηλινών!

Σε ένα διαφορετικό μοτίβο κινήθηκε η Μακάμπι στο β΄μέρος, δίνοντας χώρο στον ΠΑΟΚ που... στρατοπέδευσε στο όριο της περιοχής των Ισραηλινών, χωρίς όμως αποτέλεσμα. Ήταν ξεκάθαρο πως οι Ισραηλινοί ήθελαν να «παίξουν» και με το χρόνο, προσαρμόζοντας την τακτική τους στις στιγμές αιφνιδιασμού του αντιπάλου, αντιλαμβανόμενοι τις αδυναμίες στο αμυντικό τρανζίσιον. Υπολόγιζαν όμως χωρίς τον Παβλένκα...

Ο άνθρωπος που κρατάει τον ΠΑΟΚ, από το ξεκίνημα της σεζόν, όρθιο στην Ευρώπη, φρόντισε να βάλει ένα ακόμη... φρένο. Η μπάλα στρώθηκε μπροστά στον Αντράντε, μετά από κόντρες, αλλά ο Τσέχος τον σταμάτησε εξ επαφής (65΄). Ο Ραζβάν Λουτσέσκου «φρέσκαρε» μεσοεπιθετικά την ομάδα, ρίχνοντας αρχικά Ντεσπόντοφ και Καμαρά (66') αντί των Τάισον και Οζντόεφ, ενώ έξι αργότερα απέσυρε τον Γιακουμάκη, ποντάροντας στον Τσάλοβ...

Πινελιές... ανανέωσης και από τον Ζάρκο Λάζετιτς, ο οποίος είδε την τύχη να του κλείνει το ματς στο 70΄, σε μία απίθανη φάση όπως μπορείτε να δείτε παρακάτω. Ο Κεντζιόρα έκανε την κεφαλιά προς τα πίσω, ο Καμαρά πρόλαβε τον Μισπάτι αλλά ο ο Σισοκό έδιωξε στην γραμμή, με τη μπάλα να κοντράρει στο δοκάρι! 

Η Μακάμπι είχε απάντηση τις καλές στιγμές, καταγράφοντας τη δική της με τον Ντάβιντα που σύγκλινε και σούταρε, με τη μπάλα να περνά δίπλα από το δοκάρι. Ο επίλογος του αγώνα όμως, είχε καθαρά την υπογραφή του ΠΑΟΚ που έκανε ό,τι μπορούσε αλλά ο εφιάλτης μπροστά από την εστία, τον κρατά πίσω!

Σε ένα παράλληλα γύρισμα του Αντρίγια, Τσάλοβ και Ντεσπόντοφ ήταν... μισό βήμα πίσω. Ήταν εκεί, έκαναν κίνηση, αρκούσε απλά να βάλει ένας το πόδι του, αλλά δεν πρόλαβαν... Μερικά λεπτά πριν την ολοκλήρωση του 90λεπτου, ο Ιβανούσετς που μπήκε να δώσει... ανάσες στον Κωνσταντέλια, «σέρβιρε» στον Τσάλοβ αλλά ο Ρώσος πλάσαρε πάνω στον Μισπάτι!

Στις φάσεις με τα... άχαστα μπήκε και ο Καμαρά στην εκπνοή του αγώνα, όταν βρέθηκε τετ α τετ με τον κίπερ της Μακάμπι μετά από τρομερή πάσα του Ιβανούσετς, αλλά ο Μπισπάτι φώναξε «παρών», κρατώντας τον ΠΑΟΚ στο μηδέν! Όλα στο μηδέν στην Τούμπα, πρεμιέρα με το... αριστερό για τους Θεσσαλονικείς που έχουν «πετάξει» στα... σκουπίδια από το περασμένο Σάββατο απίθανες ευκαιρίες!
