Rishon Diante Holmes was born on October 15, 1993, is 2m06 tall and plays as a center.

He started his basketball career at Lockport Township High School, where he quickly stood out. In the NCAA, he initially played for Moraine Valley CC (2011-’12) before moving to Bowling Green State University, from which he graduated in the summer of 2015.

In the three years he played at Bowling Green State University, he even went down in history as the only player with more than 1,000 points, 600 rebounds and 200 blocks in his tenure, but also as the leading blocker with 244 blocks in total.

His great final season in the NCAA (14.7 points, 8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks), culminating in his being named MAC Defensive Player of the Year and being selected to the All-MAC First Team, resulted in him being selected No. 37 in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He stayed there for three years, averaging 7.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1 assist, also wearing the jersey of the Delaware 87ers (affiliate team of the Philadelphia 76ers) in the G-League.

In 2018/19 he was a member of the Phoenix Suns, with whom he had 8.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.

He then played for four years with the Sacramento Kings, averaging 10.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1.1 blocks, with the best season of his career being 2020/21, when he finished the regular season with 14.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.

With the colors of Sacramento, he recorded the most important statistical nights of his career, both in points and rebounds. Specifically, on December 4, 2019 against the Portland Trail Blazers, he scored 28 points, while on November 5, 2021 against the Charlotte Hornets, he had a double-double with 23 points and 20 rebounds!

In the four years he played for the Sacramento Kings, he also managed to record 6 blocks in a single game on three separate occasions (January 11, 2021 vs. Indiana Pacers, January 22, 2021 vs. New York Knicks, and February 1, 2021 vs. New Orleans Pelicans)!

He started the 2023/24 season with the Dallas Mavericks, with whom he averaged 8.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game, while he then played for the Washington Wizards, which was the final stop of his NBA career. With Washington, he averaged 7.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

Throughout his career from 2015 to 2025, Rishon Diante Holmes has played in 492 NBA games, averaging 8.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1 assist.

Ο Παναθηναϊκός ανακοίνωσε με κάθε επισημότητα την απόκτηση του ΝΒΑer, Ρισόν Χολμς για 1+1.

Ο Παναθηναϊκός ολοκλήρωσε μία ακόμη μεγάλη μεταγραφή πριν από λίγο από τη στιγμή, που ανακοίνωσε την απόκτηση του Ρισόν Χολμς. Ο πρώην παίκτης του ΝΒΑ έφθασε χθες το βράδυ στην Αθήνα, όπου έκανε τις πρώτες του δηλώσεις και γνώρισε την αποθέωση από κάποιους φίλους της νέας του ομάδας.

Και σήμερα έκλεισε το σπουδαίο ντιλ με τους «πράσινους» να ανακοινώσουν την απόκτηση του έμπειρου σέντερ για τα επόμενα δύο χρόνια (1+1).

Ο Ρισόν Ντιάντε Χολμς γεννήθηκε στις 15 Οκτωβρίου 1993, έχει ύψος 2μ06 και αγωνίζεται στη θέση του center.

Ξεκίνησε την μπασκετική διαδρομή του από Lockport Township High School, με το οποίο ξεχώρισε πολύ γρήγορα. Στο NCAA αγωνίστηκε αρχικά στο Moraine Valley CC (2011-’12) πριν πάρει μετακομίσει στο Bowling Green State University, από το οποίο αποφοίτησε το καλοκαίρι του 2015.
