London Perrantes in Maroussi

The experienced American guard, with a stint in the NBA, Europe and recently in Kolossos Rhodes, will strengthen the Maroussi roster with the aim of a competitive course.

London Perrantes will continue his career in Maroussi, signing a two-year contract with the team from the northern suburbs.

The 30-year-old American guard comes from a productive two-year stint in Kolossos Rhodes, where last season in the Stoiximan GBL he averaged 14.7 points in 22 appearances.

KAE G.S. AMAROUSSIOU 1896 announces the acquisition of London Perrantes (London Tyus Perrantes Jr.) for the next two years. He is a versatile point guard with a penchant for scoring, who left a strong mark competing in the last two seasons with the Rhodes Kolossos jersey. In the season that just ended, he had a record of 14.2 points (45.7 % 2P, 44.6% 3P, 78.9 % shooting), 2.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists in the 18 games he played.

BIO

London was born on October 3, 1994 in Los Angeles and is 1.88 m tall. He played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers (2013-2017). As a freshman, he helped the college reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament for the first time in 19 years, starting in 33 games and shooting 44% from the field. As a senior, he was selected to the Second Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference.

After stints with the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs, on October 18, 2017, he signed a “Two way contract” with the Cleveland Cavaliers with whom he played in the NBA.

He made his debut on December 12, playing three minutes in a 123–114 win over the Atlanta Hawks. That season, the Cavaliers reached the 2018 NBA Finals, but lost 4–0 to the Golden State Warriors.

His first European stint began with Limoges in France (2018). He remained in France for Cholet Basket (2018–19) and on November 11, 2019, he moved to Bahcesehir Basketbol in Turkey (2019–20).

He returned to the US for the Capital City Go-Go (2020). Subsequently (2021), he signed with the San Antonio affiliate, the Austin Spurs (G League).

On August 22, 2021, he moved to the Israeli Hapoel Gilboa Galil with whom he played for two seasons to be followed by his two-year stint with Kolossos Rhodes.

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ

Ο Λόντον γεννήθηκε στις 3 Οκτωβρίου 1994 στο Los Angeles και έχει ύψος 1.88. Έπαιξε κολεγιακό μπάσκετ για τους Virginia Cavaliers (2013-2017). Ως πρωτοετής, βοήθησε το κολέγιο να φτάσει στο Sweet 16 του τουρνουά NCAA για πρώτη φορά μετά από 19 χρόνια, ξεκινώντας βασικός σε 33 παιχνίδια και με ποσοστό ευστοχίας 44% στα σουτ.
