A goal was needed by Athens Kallithea (Maurias 41') to overcome Kampaniakos' obstacle in Chalastra and advance to the Cup

Kampaniakos and Athens Kallithea threw themselves into the cup battle, aiming for a ticket to the League Phase.

The two teams were considered to have the championship as their priority, but the cup institution always seems tempting for everyone and they would claim their chances for an extra distinction.

The game started sluggishly, with both teams playing more cautiously than aggressively, with the guests, however, having the initiative of the movements.

The half seemed to be going 0-0, but Panagou, with a nice move from the right, crossed, the counterattacks brought the ball to the far post, with Mavrias scoring essentially over the line for 0-1.

The second half was full of emotions, with Kampaniakos trying to gain rhythm, but the guests maintaining the scepters of the match. The final 0-1 gave the ticket to the next phase to Athens Kallithea, leaving Kampaniakos to focus on organizing the championship.

Ένα γκολ χρειάστηκε η Athens Kallithea (Μαυρίας 41') για να ξεπεράσει το εμπόδιο του Καμπανιακού στη Χαλάστρα και να προχωρήσει στο Κύπελλο

Καμπανιακός και Athens Kallithea ρίχτηκαν στη μάχη του κυπέλλου, με στόχο ένα εισιτήριο στο League Phase. 

Οι δύο ομάδες θεωρούνταν δεδομένο πως έχουν ως προτεραιότητα το πρωτάθλημα, όμως πάντα ο θεσμός του κυπέλλου φαντάζει δελεαστικός για όλους και θα διεκδικούσαν τις πιθανότητες τους για έξτρα διάκριση. 

Το παιχνίδι ξεκίνησε νωθρά, με τις δύο ομάδες να παίζουν περισσότερο προσεκτικά, παρά επιθετικά, με τους φιλοξενούμενους όμως να έχουν την πρωτοβουλία των κινήσεων. 

Το ημίχρονο έδειχνε να κυλά στο 0-0, όμως ο Πανάγου με ωραία κίνηση από τα δεξιά σέντραρε, οι κόντρες έφεραν τη μπάλα στο δεύτερο δοκάρι, με τον Μαυρία να σκοράρει ουσιαστικά πάνω από τη γραμμή για το 0-1. 

Το δεύτερο ημίχρονο δεν έκρυβε συγκινήσεις, με τον Καμπανιακό να προσπαθεί να αποκτήσει ρυθμό, όμως τους φιλοξενούμενους να διατηρούν τα σκήπτρα της αναμέτρησης. Το τελικό 0-1 έδωσε το εισιτήριο για την επόμενη φάση στην Athens Kallithea αφήνοντας τον Καμπανιακό να επικεντρωθεί στην διοργάνωση του πρωταθλήματος.
