PJ Dozier released by the Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves released PJ Dozier, who is now looking for the next stop in his career.
PJ Dozier is now free to find the next stage of his career. The Minnesota Timberwolves made the decision to waive the American guard, wanting to free up a spot on their roster so that they could comfortably claim a good move before the trade deadline.
That means the 28-year-old will be on the waivers list for a short period of time, with the rest of the NBA teams able to claim his contract and acquire him. If the relevant deadline is exceeded, he will be completely free.
We remind you that in the 2023-24 season Dozier played in Europe with Partizan's jersey, making good appearances for Zeljko Obradovic's team. It remains to be seen if there is a chance for him to return to the EuroLeague if he doesn't find something good in the NBA.
Last season, the American averaged 9.2 points on 48.6% shooting, along with 3.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists for Partizan in the EuroLeague. In his (injury-plagued) career, he has also played for the Thunder, Celtics, Nuggets and Kings.
