Leader of the winners is Rashad Vaughn with 17 points (3/4 three-pointers) and 6 rebounds. Godikas double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Important contribution from Antonis Koniaris with 13 points and 5 assists. Langewein's 20-point, 10-rebound effort was not enough for Maroussi.

The fight

After a balanced first quarter with a low tempo (16-15), Lavrio picked up the pace and with an excellent productive period, took an eight-point lead at the break, keeping the Zouro team low on the score (33-41).

In the third quarter, Amarousiou's counterattack followed, which with a 26-12 lead overturned the situation and entered the final and crucial quarter with a six-point advantage (59-53).

Πολύ σημαντική νίκη για το Λαύριο, που πέρασε από το κλειστό του Αγίου Θωμά με 84-80 για την 7η αγωνιστική της Stoiximan GBL. Τρίτη σερί νίκη για την ομάδα του Μέξα.

Το Λαύριο άντεξε στο... θρίλερ του κλειστού του Αγίου Θωμά και επικράτησε του Αμαρουσίου με 84-80 στο πλαίσιο της 7ης αγωνιστικής της Stoiximan GBL.

Τρίτη σερί νίκη για την ομάδα του Κώστα Μέξα που πηγαίνει στο 3-4. Στο 2-5 έπεσε το Μαρούσι.

Κορυφαίος των νικητών ο Ρασάντ Βον με 17 πόντους (3/4 τρίποντα) και 6 ριμπάουντ. Νταμπλ-νταμπλ ο Γόντικας με 10 πόντους και 10 ριμπάουντ. Σημαντική συνεισφορά από τον Αντώνη Κόνιαρη με 13 πόντους και 5 ασίστ. Η προσπάθεια του Λάντζεβαϊν με 20 πόντους και 10 ριμπάουντ δεν ήταν αρκετή για το Μαρούσι.

Ο αγώνας

Έπειτα από ένα ισορροπημένο πρώτο δεκάλεπτο με χαμηλό τέμπο (16-15) το Λαύριο ανέβασε στροφές και με μία εξαιρετική παραγωγικά περίοδο, πήρε αέρα οκτώ πόντων στην ανάπαυλα, κρατώντας την ομάδα του Ζούρου χαμηλά στο σκορ (33-41).

Στο τρίτο δεκάλεπτο ακολούθησε η αντεπίθεση του Αμαρουσίου, που με ένα επιμέρους 26-12 ανέτρεψε την κατάσταση και μπήκε με πλεονέκτημα έξι πόντων στο τελευταίο και κρίσιμο δεκάλεπτο (59-53).

Το παιχνίδι εξελίχθηκε σε... θρίλερ και όλα θα κρίνονταν στις λεπτομέρειες. Εκεί το Λαύριο άντεξε στην πίεση και πανηγύρισε μία πολύ σημαντική νίκη.
