The coach of the "red and whites" congratulated his players in his locker room speech after the match, but made sure to tell them that the season is still in its early days.
In particular, coach Bartzokas told his players: "Today we played like Olympiacos. We went back to what we are as a team. We had a problem with rebounds in the previous matches, today we had 12 more. Nigel had 6 and Zach had 9. This is very important. You played against a great team like Real Madrid and we dominated because we had 12 more rebounds, but I would say it's too early in the season. We have a game in two days and I want to be like that. Let's go!"

Είχαμε πρόβλημα με τα ριμπάουντ στα προηγούμενα ματς, σήμερα είχαμε 12 περισσότερα. Είχε 6 ο Νάιτζελ και 9 ο Σακ. Αυτό είναι πολύ σημαντικό. Παίξατε απέναντι σε μια σπουδαία ομάδα όπως η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης και κυριαρχήσαμε γιατί είχαμε 12 ριμπάουντ περισσότερα. Ακόμα και αν ερχόταν η ήττα, όμως, θα έλεγα ότι είναι πολύ νωρίς στη σεζόν. Έχουμε παιχνίδι σε δύο ημέρες και θέλω να είμαστε έτσι. Πάμε!"
