Olympiakos U19 defeated Lance on penalties (4-2_ and advanced to the "8" of the UEFA Youth League. Regular time ended 2-2 with Sylaidopoulos's players equalizing at 2-2 with two goals in five minutes.

The babies of Sotiris Sylaidopoulos continue their frenetic journey in Europe. The U19 of Olympiakos defeated Lance on penalties 4-2 and advanced to the "8" of the UEFA Youth League, with the match ending 2-2 in regular time.

In fact, this is the best performance of a Greek team in this event. Olympiacos, who held the relevant record, had once again reached the "16" in the past.

The match

The French were there when they took a two-goal lead. Initially, in the 19th minute, they opened the scoring with a direct free kick by Sisuba, with Sina unable to save the goal. Thanks to this goal the French went to the locker room with the lead in their favor.

The second goal came in the 52nd minute. Bermont moved well on the axis, passed to Fofanas, who with a nice finish from inside the area made it 2-0.

The players of Sotiris Sylaidopoulos made a dynamic comeback and tied the match in five minutes. Initially, Charalambos Kostoulas reduced the score to 2-1 in the 58th minute with a well-placed penalty kick.

The equalizer came in the 62nd minute. Pneumonidis pressured the Lance keeper who tried to clear the ball, but he sent it over him and it ended up in the net.

In the rest of the match the two teams fought to find the third goal, however they were sent to the penalty shootout.

Η Κ19 του Ολυμπιακού νίκησε τη Λανς στα πέναλτι (4-2_ και προκρίθηκε στους "8" του UEFA Youth League. Η κανονική διάρκεια έληξε 2-2 με τους παίκτες του Συλαϊδόπουλου να ισοφαρίζουν σε 2-2 με δύο γκολ σε πέντε λεπτά.

Τα μωρά του Σωτήρη Συλαϊδόπουλου συνεχίζουν την ξέφρενη πορεία τους στην Ευρώπη. Η Κ19 του Ολυμπιακού νίκησε τη Λανς στα πέναλτι με 4-2 και προκρίθηκε στους "8" του UEFA Youth League, με το ματς να ολοκληρώνεται 2-2 στην κανονική διάρκεια.

Μάλιστα αυτή είναι η κορυφαία πορεία ελληνικής ομάδας στη συγκεκριμένη διοργάνωση. Ο Ολυμπιακός που κατείχε στο σχετικό ρεκόρ είχε φτάσει άλλη μια φορά στο παρελθόν στους "16".

Το ματς

Οι Γάλλοι ήταν εκεί που πήραν προβάδισμα δύο τερμάτων. Αρχικά στο 19ο λεπτό άνοιξαν το σκορ με την απευθείας εκτέλεση φάουλ του Σισουμπά, με τον Σίνα να μην μπορεί να αποσοβήσει το γκολ. Χάρη σε αυτό το γκολ οι Γάλλοι πήγαν στα αποδυτήρια με το προβάδισμα υπέρ τους.

Το δεύτερο γκολ ήρθε στο 52ο λεπτό. Ο Μπερμόντ κινήθηκε ωραία στον άξονα, μοίρασε στον Φοφανά, ο οποίος με ωραίο τελείωμα μέσα από την περιοχή έκανε το 2-0.

Οι παίκτες του Σωτήρη Συλαϊδόπουλου έκαναν δυναμική επιστροφή και έφεραν το ματς στα ίσια σε πέντε λεπτά. Αρχικά ο Χαράλαμπος Κωστούλας μείωσε σε 2-1 στο 58' με εύστοχο χτύπημα πέναλτι.

Στο 62ο λεπτό ήρθε η ισοφάριση. Ο Πνευμονίδης πίεσε τον κίπερ της Λανς που προσπάθησε να απομακρύνει την μπάλα, αλλά την έστειλε πάνω του και αυτή κατέληξε στα δίχτυα.

Στο υπόλοιπο του αγώνα οι δύο ομάδες πάλεψαν για να βρουν το τρίτο γκολ, ωστόσο οδηγήθηκαν στη διαδικασία των πέναλτι.
