"Orgy" Vezenkov with double-double, Bulgaria defeats Lithuania (vid)
Alexander Vezenkov may have had a terrific game with an impressive double-double, but it wasn't enough for Bulgaria, who were defeated by Lithuania 72-70.
The Olympiakos international forward finished the game with 29 points (8/14 2-pointers, 3/9 3-pointers, 4/5 shots), 10 rebounds, 2 assists, missing a crucial shot in the final minute when the score was at 70-71. For the Lithuanians, Brajeikis had 13 points, Grigonis 12 and Birutis 10.
With this victory, Lithuania took their record to 5-0 securing first place in Group Six, while Bulgaria went to 1-4.
Quarters: 22-16, 30-34, 55-51, 70-72.

Μπορεί ο Αλέξανδρος Βεζένκοφ να έκανε τρομερό παιχνίδι με εντυπωσιακό νταμπλ-νταμπλ, όμως αυτό δεν ήταν αρκετό για τη Βουλγαρία που ηττήθηκε από τη Λιθουανία με 72-70.
Ο διεθνής φόργουορντ του Ολυμπιακού τελείωσε τον αγώνα με 29 πόντους (8/14 δίποντα, 3/9 τρίποντα, 4/5 βολές), 10 ριμπάουντ, 2 ασίστ, χάνοντας μία κρίσιμη βολή στο τελευταίο λεπτό όταν το σκορ ήταν στο 70-71. Για τους Λιθουανούς ο Μπρατζεϊκις είχε 13 πόντους, ο Γκριγκόνις 12 και ο Μπιρούτις 10.
Με αυτή τη νίκη η Λιθουανία έφτασε στο 5-0 το ρεκόρ της εξασφαλίζοντας την πρώτη θέση στον έκτο όμιλο, ενώ η Βουλγαρία πήγε στο 1-4.
