Cristiano Ronaldo: Griezmann key to the Portuguese's transfer to Atletico, says Marca
Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Manchester United and his move to Atletico Madrid are directly linked to Antoine Griezmann's future, according to the Spanish press.
Cristiano Ronaldo's burning desire to compete in the Champions League has led him to the exit door of Manchester United. The Portuguese superstar is desperately looking for a way out of the English club despite the Red Devils not wanting to let him go. However, the teams that can -financially- withstand his heavy salary (Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich) have gone out of contention. In the last 24 hours, the name of Atlético Madrid appears persistently in the transfer scenarios for CR7.
Although from the most official lips, the president of the team Enrique Thereto, the scenarios of the transfer of the Portuguese superstar to the red and white side of Madrid have been denied, Marca returns with a new report in which it is emphasized that the future of Antoine Griezmann will largely determine and the transfer of the Portuguese superstar.
In order to find a way to implement the transfer, Atleti will have to make... space on the roster (and the coffers), so they are thinking of granting the French international. On loan with an option to buy (automatic subject to conditions) from Barca, the Frenchman does not wish to leave the Madrid club. A potential arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Atletico is therefore likely to cause quite a stir in the Spanish capital.

Το μέλλον του Κριστιάνο Ρονάλντο στη Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ και η μεταγραφή του στην Ατλέτικο Μαδρίτης σχετίζονται άμεσα με το μέλλον του Αντουάν Γκριεζμάν, σύμφωνα με τον ισπανικό Τύπο.
Ο διακαής πόθος του Κριστιάνο Ρονάλντο να αγωνιστεί στο Champions League τον έχουν οδηγήσει στην πόρτα της εξόδου της Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ. Ο Πορτογάλος σούπερ σταρ αναζητά εναγωνίως διέξοδο από τον αγγλικό σύλλογο παρότι οι «Κόκκινοι Διάβολοι» δεν επιθυμούν να τον αποδεσμεύσουν. Ωστόσο, οι ομάδες που μπορούν -οικονομικά- να αντέξουν το βαρύ του μισθό (Τσέλσι, Παρί Σεν Ζερμέν, Μπάγερν Μονάχου) έχουν βγει εκτός διεκδίκησης. Τα τελευταία 24ωρα το όνομα της Ατλέτικο Μαδρίτης εμφανίζεται επίμονα στα μεταγραφικά σενάρια για τον CR7.
Παρότι από τα πλέον επίσημα χείλη, τον πρόεδρο της ομάδας Ενρίκε Θερέθο, τα σενάρια περί μεταγραφής του Πορτογάλου σούπερ σταρ στην ερυθρόλευκη πλευρά της Μαδρίτης έχουν διαψευστεί, η Marca επανέρχεται με νέο ρεπορτάζ στο οποίο τονίζεται πως το μέλλον του Αντουάν Γκριεζμάν θα καθορίσει εν πολλοίς και τη μεταγραφή του Πορτογάλου σούπερ σταρ.
Για να βρεθεί τρόπος υλοποίησης της μεταγραφής θα πρέπει η Ατλέτι να κάνει... χώρο στο ρόστερ (και τα ταμεία) κι έτσι σκέφτονται να παραχωρήσουν τον Γάλλο διεθνή. Δανεικός με οψιόν αγοράς (αυτόματη υπό προϋποθέσεις) από την Μπάρτσα, ο Γάλλος δεν επιθυμεί να φύγει από τον σύλλογο της Μαδρίτης. Μια πιθανή άφιξη του Κριστιάνο Ρονάλντο στην Ατλέτικο είναι επομένως πιθανό να προκαλέσει μεγάλο σάλο στην ισπανική πρωτεύουσα.
Στο περιθώριο ενός φιλικού αγώνα της pre seaon, οπαδοί εξέφρασαν τη δυσαρέσκειά τους για μια τέτοια κίνηση με πολύ σαφές πανό που χαρακτήριζε ανεπιθύμητο τον CR7. Ενώ επιπλέον σύνδεσμος οργανωμένων, εξέδωσε επίσημη ανακοίνωση με την οποία επίσης διευκρινίζει πως ο Πορτογάλος δεν έχει θέση στην ομάδα.
Πάντως ακόμα κι αν κάποιος παρέβλεπε το γεγονός ότι ο άλλοτε παίκτης της Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης είναι persona non grata στην ερυθρόλευκη πλευρά της ισπανικής πρωτεύουσας και από τεχνικής πλευράς φαντάζει δύσκολο για τους «κολτσονέρος» να προχωρήσουν τη μεταγραφή του πέντε φορές κατόχου της Χρυσής Μπάλας.
Πρώτον, θα ήταν απαραίτητο να αγοράσουν τον Αντουάν Γκριεζμάν και μετά να τον πουλήσει και έτσι να ελευθερώσουν το μισθολογικό κόστος για να μπορέσουν να αγοράσουν το αστέρι της Πορτογαλίας. Μια ενδεχόμενη αποχώρηση του «Γκρίζου» βέβαια δεν ήταν αρκετή για την πρόσληψη του Κριστιάνο.
Εάν ο προστατευόμενος του Ζόρζε Μέντες έπρεπε να επιστρέψει στη La Liga, τότε η Ατλέτι θα αναγκαστεί να αποχωριστεί ακόμα έναν παίκτη ο οποίος σύμφωνα με τον ιβηρικό Τύπο είναι ο Αλβάρο Μοράτα.
