Η Μπούρσασπορ απέκλεισε διαδοχικά τις Παρτίζαν, Τσεντεβίτα Ολίμπια και Ανδόρα στο φετινό EuroCup, μετρώντας μαζεμένες υπερβάσεις πριν ηττηθεί εν τέλει από τη Βίρτους Μπολόνια στον τελικό της διοργάνωσης.

Η ομάδα του Ντούσαν Αλιμπίγεβιτς ήταν η ευχάριστη έκπληξη στη δεύτερη τη τάξει διοργάνωση της EuroLeague Basketball.

Πλέον βρίσκεται στην αναμονή όσον αφορά τις τρεις wild card που θα μοιραστούν για να συμπληρωθεί ο «χάρτης» της EuroLeague 2022-23 (σ.σ. η μια εξ αυτών θα δοθεί στον νικητή της ABA Liga, τον Ερυθρό Αστέρα ή την Παρτίζαν) και λαμβάνοντας υπόψη ότι δεν θα αγωνιστούν ρωσικές ομάδες.

«Αν η EuroLeague μάς προσκαλέσει, θα αποδεχτούμε της wild card. Θα γίνει αποδεκτή από τη διοίκηση και τον χορηγό μας» εξήγησε ο General Manager της Μπούρσασπορ, Νεντίμ Γιουτζέλ.

Στη συνέχεια παραδέχθηκε: «Ας είμαστε ρεαλιστές, η EuroLeague είναι ακριβή υπόθεση. Δεν την αντέχουμε αυτή την στιγμή. Θα πρέπει να βρούμε νέους χορηγούς. Μοιάζει δύσκολο. Το ρίσκο να παίξουμε στην EuroLeague είναι μεγάλο. Υπάρχουν τα παραδείγματα της Γαλατάσαραϊ, της Καρσίγιακα και της Νταρουσάφακα που όταν έφυγαν από την EuroLeague, δεν κατάφεραν να ορθοποδήσουν για πολλά χρόνια».

Θυμίζουμε πως το μίνιμουμ μπάτζετ για τη συμμετοχή στην EuroLeague της νέας σεζόν είναι 7 εκατομμύρια ευρώ.
