Την απόφαση να αποχωρήσει από τη Λιντς έχει πάρει ο Ραφίνια, εντείνοντας τη φημολογία για επαφές με Λίβερπουλ και Αρσεναλ.

Μετά την αποχώρηση του Μαρσέλο Μπιέλσα από τον πάγκο της αγγλικής ομάδας ο Βραζιλιάνος άσος, ο οποίος έχει συμβόλαιο μέχρι του 2024, αρνήθηκε να βάλει την υπογραφή του στην πρόταση για διετή επέκταση ως το 2026, αφήνοντας ανοιχτό το ενδεχόμενο φυγής στο τέλος της σεζόν.

Μάλιστα ο 25χρονος Βραζιλιάνος ειδοποίησε ήδη τη διοίκηση, μέσω του ατζέντη του, πως το καλοκαίρι θέλει να συνεχίσει σε άλλη ομάδα την καριέρα του.
