Για τρίτη σερί σεζόν ο Χρήστος Σαλούστρος θα αγωνίζεται στο Περιστέρι. Ο 31χρονος γκαρντ/φόργουορντ υπέγραψε νέο συμβόλαιο με την ομάδα των δυτικών προαστίων, που υπηρετεί από το 2019.

Την περασμένη σεζόν είχε στην Stoiximan Basket League σε 18 αγώνες στην κανονική περίοδο και τα play offs, 4,9 πόντους, 3,2 ριμπάουντ και 1,1 ασίστ σε 14,4 λεπτά συμμετοχής κατά μέσο όρο, ενώ στο Basketball Champions League σε 4 αγώνες είχε 3,8 πόντους, 1,8 ριμπάουντ και 1,3 κλεψίματα σε 12,4 λεπτά συμμετοχής ανά αγώνα.

Η ΚΑΕ Περιστέρι ανακοινώνει την ανανέωση της συνεργασίας της με τον αθλητή Χρήστο Σαλούστρο, ο οποίος θα φορά την φανέλα του Συλλόγου και την σεζόν 2021-2022.

Ο 31χρονος φόργουορντ θα ενισχύσει την περιφερειακή γραμμή της ομάδας και θα την βοηθήσει στις υποχρεώσεις της τόσο στο ελληνικό πρωτάθλημα και το Κύπελλο, όσο και στο Basketball Champions League, για τρίτο συνεχόμενο χρόνο.
