Bahrain: Pole position for Ferstappen!

The Dutchman Red Bull driver made a fantastic lap in the qualifying tests and won the pole position in Bahrain, in the first Grand Prix for this season.

With a fantastic lap at 1: 28: 997, Max Ferstappen took pole position at the Bahrain Grand Prix and on Sunday will start the race from first place in the Grid.

The Dutch driver of Red Bull was the only one who came down at 1:29:00, with the 23-year-old leaving four full tenths behind the world champion, Lewis Hamilton.

The Briton will start from the second place, while in the third place will be Botas. Also in the top five are Leclerc and Gasley, while in the 6-7 are the two McLaren drivers, Ricciardo and Norris. Saint, Alonso and Stroll complete the top 10.

Ferstappen's performance in the Bahrain qualifiers showed that the gap between Red Bull and Mercedes is closed, with the Dutchman leaving Lewis Hamilton behind him and starting from first place in the Grid at the Bahrain Grand Prix. .

Ο Ολλανδός πιλότος της Ρεντ Μπουλ έκανε φανταστικό γύρο στις κατατακτήριες δοκιμές και κατέκτησε την pole position στο Μπαχρέιν, στο πρώτο Grand Prix για τη φετινή σεζόν.

Με έναν φανταστικό γύρο στο 1:28:997 ο Μαξ Φερστάπεν κατέκτησε την pole position στο Grand Prix του Μπαχρέιν και την Κυριακή θα ξεκινήσει τον αγώνα από την πρώτη θέση του Grid.

Ο Ολλανδός πιλότος της Ρεντ Μπουλ ήταν ο μοναδικός που κατέβηκε το 1:29:00, με τον 23χρονο να αφήνει τέσσερα ολόκληρα δέκατα πίσω του τον παγκόσμιο πρωταθλητή, Λιούς Χάμιλτον.

Ο Βρετανός θα εκκινήσει από τη δεύτερη θέση, ενώ στην τρίτη θέση θα βρίσκεται ο Μπότας. Στην πεντάδα βρίσκονται επίσης οι ΛεΚλέρκ και Γκασλί, ενώ στο 6-7 βρίσκονται οι δύο πιλότοι της ΜακΛάρεν, Ρικιάρντο και Νόρις. Οι Σάινθ, Αλόνσο και Στρολ συμπληρώνουν την 10άδα.

Ο Φερστάπεν με την εμφάνιση που έκανε στις κατατακτήριες δοκιμές του Μπαχρέιν έδειξε ότι έχει κλείσει η ψαλίδα ανάμεσα στην Ρεντ Μπουλ και την Μερσέντες, με τον Ολλανδό να αφήνει πίσω του τον Λιούις Χάμιλτον και να εκκινεί από την πρώτη θέση του Grid  στο Grand Prix του Μπαχρέιν.
