ΗΖενίτ επέστρεψε με εμφατικό τρόπο στις νίκες επικρατώντας της Χίμκι με 91-70 εκτός έδρας και ήρθε ένα βήμα πιο κοντά στην οκτάδα της EuroLeague. Οι φιλοξενούμενοι αν και άργησαν να συνδεθούν με το αντίπαλο καλάθι (σκόραραν τους πρώτους τους πόντους στο 5' έχοντας 0/6 σουτ), ήταν επιβλητικοί στη συνέχεια και έφτασαν εύκολα στη νίκη.

Οι γηπεδούχοι απ' την άλλη, που έχουν χάσει όποια ελπίδα πρόκρισης στα playoffs εδώ και καιρό, δεν μπόρεσαν να κοντράρουν τη Ζενίτ μετά το πρώτο δεκάλεπτο, ήταν φανερά πιο αδύναμοι στην επίθεση και γνώρισαν μία ακόμα ήττα στη διοργάνωση.

Ο ΑΓΩΝΑΣ

Η Χίμκι μπήκε καλά στο ματς κόντρα στη Ζενίτ και προηγήθηκε γρήγορα στο σκορ. Η Ζενίτ έμεινε για πολλή ώρα χωρίς καλάθι μιας και πέτυχε τους πρώτους της πόντους πέντε λεπτά μετά την έναρξη του ματς έχοντας 0/6 σουτ. Οι παίκτες του Πασκουάλ σταδιακά βρήκαν ρυθμό, ανέβασαν στροφές και πήραν κεφάλι στο σκορ, κλείνοντας το πρώτο δεκάλεπτο στο +3 (11-14 στο 10'). Η Ζενίτ μπήκε με φόρα και στο δεύτερο δεκάλεπτο και με δύο συνεχόμενα τρίποντα προηγήθηκε με 7 πόντους. Η Χίμκι μείωσε στους τέσσερις, ωστόσο η επιθετική ανάπτυξη της Ζενίτ δεν επέτρεψε στους γηπεδούχους να πλησιάσουν περισσότερο και έκλεισε το πρώτο μισό του αγώνα στο +10 (29-39 στο 20').

Με το πόδι κολλημένο στο γκάζι, η Ζενίτ δεν κοίταξε ποτέ πίσω, συνέχισε να κάνει το παιχνίδι της και έφτασε σε μία άνετη επικράτηση.
