Official: Hertel in Villeurbanne
Villeurbanne completed a very important move, after announcing the acquisition of Tomas Hertel for the rest of the season. The former Barcelona guard has no right to participate in the Euroleague.
Hertel did not meet the deadlines to stay at the level of the Euroleague and decided to respond positively to Villeurbanne's proposal, in order to maintain a good pace in view of the Olympic Games.
The experienced guard signed a contract until the end of the season and will help ASVEL in the competitions within the borders.
We remind you that Hertel started the season in Barcelona, but the "divorce" with the Catalans was ... episodic.

Η Βιλερμπάν ολοκλήρωσε μία πολύ σημαντική κίνηση, αφού ανακοίνωσε την απόκτηση του Τομά Ερτέλ για το υπόλοιπο της σεζόν. Δεν έχει δικαίωμα συμμετοχής στην Euroleague ο πρώην γκαρντ ης Μπαρτσελόνα.
Ο Ερτέλ δεν πρόλαβε τις προθεσμίες για να παραμείνει στο level της Euroleague και αποφάσισε να απαντήσει θετικά στην πρόταση της Βιλερμπάν, ώστε να διατηρηθεί σε καλό αγωνιστικό ρυθμό ενόψει των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων.
Ο έμπειρος γκαρντ υπέγραψε συμβόλαιο μέχρι το τέλος της σεζόν και θα βοηθήσει την ASVEL στις διοργανώσεις εντός συνόρων.
Θυμίζουμε ότι ο Ερτέλ ξεκίνησε την σεζόν στην Μπαρτσελόνα, όμως το «διαζύγιο» με τους Καταλανούς ήταν... επεισοδιακό.
