Fantastic Stefanos Tsitsipas eliminated Andrei Rublev 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 and qualified for the first time in his career in a semifinal at Roland Garros.

With the appearance of champion, Stefanos Tsitsipas eliminated with brief procedures in 1.55 'to Andrei Rublev in the quarterfinals and qualified for the first time in his career in the "4" at Roland Garros.

Stefanos Tsitsipas prevailed with 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 of Andrei Rublev and will play on Friday in the quarterfinals against the winner of the match between Novak Djokovic and Pablo Karenio Busta.

The Greek tennis player was fantastic after the 5-3 of the 1st set and by constantly increasing his performance he reached a huge victory against a great player who had 2-1 victories against Stefanos.

This is the 2nd semifinal career of Stefanos Tsitsipas in Grand Slam after in 2019 he had played in the semifinal of the Australian Open with Rafa Nadal.

 With the qualification to the semifinal, the Greek tennis player returns to No. 5 in the world and if he wins the tournament, he will be at No. 4 for the first time.

Stefanos Tsitsipas after the 5-3 of the 1st set won 14-5 games! The points were 102-73. Tsitsipas had 35 winners, 17 effortlessly and 5/8 break points and Rublev 25-23 and 1/3 (from 1st set).

Overthrow with soul!

In the 1st set, Tsitsipas makes ... a premiere with a love service game (1-0) but Roublef will delete break points to equalize at 1-1. In the 3rd game, Tsitsipas will erase 2 break points and will lead 2-1.

Rublev with a break will reverse the game for 3-2 and with his serve will reach 4-2. Stefanos Tsitsipas reacts and reduces to 4-3 but Andrei Rublev with a love service game will go to 5-3.

In the 10th game, Stefanos Tsitsipas will reach a double break point and with the first he will break (5-5)! From 3-5, the Greek tennis player will lead 6-5 and with a break in 48 ', he will "write" 7-5!

Walk in the 2nd set!

In the 2nd set, Stefanos Tsitsipas will lead 2-1 and with a break he will reach 4-2! With love service game the Greek tennis player will reach 5-2 and with a break he will reach 6-2!

After the 2nd set, Tsitsipas has 21 winners, 13 effortlessly and the great 4/5 at break points. Rublev on the other hand has 16-14 and only 1/3 break points.

He turned it off!

With a break in the 4th game, Stefanos Tsitsipas will reach 3-1 in the 3rd set.

4-1 is for the Greek tennis player who will see the Russian erase his break point in the 6th game (4-2). Rublev deletes match points in the 8th game and will reduce to 5-3 and Tsitsipas will end the game at 6-3.

O φανταστικός Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς απέκλεισε με 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 τον Αντρέι Ρούμπλεφ και προκρίθηκε για πρώτη φορά στην καριέρα του σε ημιτελικό στο Roland Garros. 

Με εμφάνιση πρωταθλητή ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς απέκλεισε με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες σε 1.55' στον Αντρέι Ρούμπλεφ στον προημιτελικό και προκρίθηκε για πρώτη φορά στην καριέρα του στους "4" στο Roland Garros. 

Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς επικράτησε με 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 του Αντρέι Ρούμπλεφ και θα παίξει την Παρασκευή στον προημιτελικό κόντρα στον νικητή του αγώνα του Νόβακ Τζόκοβιτς με τον Πάμπλο Καρένιο Μπούστα. 

Ο Έλληνας τενίστας ήταν φανταστικός μετά από το 5-3 του 1ου σετ και ανεβάζοντας συνεχώς την απόδοση του έφτασε σε μια τεράστια νίκη απέναντι σ' ένα σπουδαίο παίκτη ο οποίος είχε 2-1 νίκες κόντρα στον Στέφανο. 

Αυτός είναι ο 2ος ημιτελικός καριέρας του Στέφανου Τσιτσιπά σε Grand Slam αφού το 2019 είχε παίξει στον ημιτελικό του Australian Open με τον Ράφα Ναδάλ.

 Με την πρόκριση στον ημιτελικό ο Έλληνας τενίστας επιστρέφει στο Νο5 του κόσμου και εάν κατακτήσει το τουρνουά θα είναι για πρώτη φορά στο Νο4. 

Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς μετά από το 5-3 του 1ου σετ κέρδισε 14-5 γκέιμ! Οι πόντοι ήταν 102-73. Ο Τσιτσιπάς είχε 35 winners, 17 αβίαστα και 5/8 μπρέικ πόιντ και ο Ρούμπλεφ 25-23 και 1/3 (από 1ο σετ). 

Ανατροπή με ψυχή! 

Στο 1ο σετ ο Τσιτσιπάς κάνει ... πρεμιέρα με love service game (1-0) αλλά ο Ρούμπλεφ θα σβήσει μπρέικ πόιντ για να ισοφαρίσει σε 1-1. Στο 3ο γκέιμ, ο Τσιτσιπάς θα σβήσει 2 μπρέικ πόιντ και θα προηγηθεί με 2-1. 

Ο Ρούμπλεφ με μπρέικ θα ανατρέψει το παιχνίδι για το 3-2 και με το σερβίς του θα φτάσει στο 4-2. Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς αντιδρά και μειώνει σε 4-3 αλλά ο Αντρέι Ρούμπλεφ με love service game θα πάει στο 5-3. 

Στο 10ο γκέιμ ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς θα φτάσει σε διπλό μπρέικ πόιντ και με την πρώτη θα κάνει μπρέικ (5-5)! Από το 3-5 θα προηγηθεί με 6-5 ο Έλληνας τενίστας και με μπρέικ σε 48' θα "γράψει" το 7-5! 

Περίπατος στο 2ο σετ! 

Στο 2ο σετ ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς θα προηγηθεί με 2-1 και με μπρέικ θα φτάσει στο 4-2! Με love service game ο Έλληνας τενίστας θα φτάσει στο 5-2 και με μπρέικ θα φτάσει στο 6-2! 

Μετά από το 2ο σετ ο Τσιτσιπάς έχει 21 winners, 13 αβίαστα και το σπουδαίο 4/5 στα μπρέικ πόιντ. Ο Ρούμπλεφ από την άλλη έχει 16-14 και μόλις 1/3 μπρέικ πόιντ. 

Τον έσβησε! 

Με μπρέικ στο 4ο γκέιμ ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς θα φτάσει στο 3-1 στο 3ο σετ.

To 4-1 είναι για τον Έλληνα τενίστα ο οποίος θα δει τον Ρώσο να του σβήνει μπρέικ πόιντ στο 6ο γκέιμ (4-2). Ο Ρούμπλεφ σβήνει  ματς πόιντ στο 8ο γκέιμ και θα μειώσει σε 5-3 και ο Τσιτσιπάς θα τελειώσει το παιχνίδι στο 6-3.
